I study him about to ask what he's talking about when my hands tingle. Opening my palm, a butterfly pops out and flies to the window. My heart nearly stops and I feel my face drain of color. What. The. Hell.

Zane

I fold my arms and lean to my left looking at what Chance has done, "not bad, it's a start." I said.

Katie

My mouth falls open and I gasp. "How can he do that?" I ask Zane.

Chance

I nod in agreement with Katie, "Yeah, how the hell can I do that?"

Zane

"That my friends, is the mist, Chance manipulated it to creat the illusion of a butterfly, it's not really there. If Chance can imagine it, he can use the mist to make an illusion of it. But his powers are not limieted to just this, can make it so people see the illusions while others can't. But I should forwarn you Chance, if you don't admit to fear, if you don't admit your feelings, then your emotions will find another way out, and that's though the mist. You can potentially drive uhh" I look at the girl waving my hand at her to say her name.

"Katie" She said.

"You can potentially drive Kaite insane with your pent up emotions, and your fears can create monsters that plague everyone around you." I said.

"Now me, I can't manipulate the mist, due to our vastly different parentage, I am a Son of Hermes, the messenger god. I come with speed, and being a Chaos Walker, I am only made faster to the point of breaking the sound barrier." I said.

Katie

Confusion runs through me and I shake my head. I place my hands to the sides of my head, growing a small head ache. I sigh and try to take it all in.

Chance

I focus on Katie and keep her close, trying to process everything.

Zane

"Now I'm going off on the assumption that your girlfriend ain't a demigod, mainly because she doesn't remind me of any of the gods off the top of my head." I said.

Kate

I am his wife. I shake my head. "No, unless someone failed to tell me something. I am not a demigod." I say

Chance

I leave them to talk, still trying to process things, and hold Katie even closer.

"At best you look like the Love Goddess Aphrodite, but only half as beautiful." I said.

That's when I shouldn't have opened my mouth, a bright pinkish black light appears out of no where. It hovers above Katie, but it isn't normal, the Dove, the symbol of Aphrodite, hovers above Katie. Except the Dove was pinkish black, and the Dove looked demonic, it had four red eyes, it's wings long and black. It looked more like a raven, but I knew better, and suddenly I wasn't the only Chaos Walker in this room.

"Your kidding me!" I nearly yell.

Katie

I look from the bird, to Chance, to Zane and back again. "What is going on?" I yell. Is this happening? I grip Chance's hand tighter, not knowing what to do.

Chance

I swallow and look at the bird, staying close to Katie only because I know she needs me. Gripping her hand back, I wait for Zane to explain.

Zane

"Your kidding me!" I said.

The bird disappaites and disappears, I sat down on the bed rubbing my fore head with my hands. Trying to figure out why these things happen to me, I take a deep breath before finally explaining.

"Welcome the Daughter of Chaotic Love, Daughter of Aphrodite, new servant of Eris: The Goddess of Discord and Chaos. Katie, you just been claimed as a demigod." I said.

Katie

I think for a moment and then start laughing. "You really had me going." I say to him. "Really funny, good job." He looks at me and crosses his arms. "Please tell me that this is a joke."
