We chit chat a bit and then I wave good bye to her. It was good talking to her. Not only did I love Chance, I love his whole family. It was not normal not seeing them everyday now. I let out a sigh and put a smile back on.

After a while, my head starts to ache and I begin to tire. My sister, as if sensing it, takes me back to my cabin and allows me to lounge around. She keeps me company, talking away about her own life without revealing any secrets of mine. Every now and then she'll utter a word or two about how I used to be with her, or how I would have acted one way or another if I had been there. My mind neither recognizes nor recalls any of it, though, which leaves me somewhat down and even slightly bitter.

The horn sounds and my sister jumps up, tugging me out of the cabin and to one of the edges of the boat. Leaning up against the railing, she keeps me at her side as we pull from the dock.

As we pull away from the dock, everyone heads to the railing to look out. I know this is tonce of the two worst days. People struggling to find rooms and everything. The second is leaving day. That is a good as away though. I smile again and point out the pools and everything on this deck.

As we pull away, I turn to my sister. I ask her if my mother knew Katie. She simply shrugs and refuses to answer, very unlike her. Instead of asking again, I push away the question and watch the water below.

As time passes by, I head over to the lifted stage. The band I will sing with most of the time was already set up. They smile at me and the drummer turns my microphone on. One of the activity directors come over and say we are the Entertainment.
I smile as the hand me the microphone back. I put it on a stand and fix it for my height. The start to play our music and I begin to sing. For this time, we are singing Christmas music. We start of with 'All I want for Christmas is you'.

I begin to hear music a while later and lead my sister to it, something foreign yet familiar to me about that voice. A smile flickers across my face when I find Katie there. Remembering what I said, I have my sister sit down at one of the tables and we decide to get something to eat as we listen.

Once that song is over, I walk over to piano and sit down. The set up the microphone again and I begin to play. 'Last Christmas' was a favorite. Everyone was chapping and singing along.

I clap with everyone else, but don't dare sing. My mind wouldn't give me the lyrics, even though the song was familiar. My sister, on the other hand, sings perfectly in tune to everything, sipping her hot chocolate between songs.

We finish that song and my friend John sits down at the piano. I take the microphone from at other stand and sit on top of the piano. Together we sing 'Baby it's Cold Outside.' I spot Chance and smile at him as we sing.
That was our last song, so I wave to everyone and the band goes off stage. I get some water and sit at one of the tables.

I smile when they sing the last song, hesitating before excusing myself from the table and heading over to the table where Katie sits. My sister teases me, but lets me go.
"Hey, you were great," I say, sitting across from Katie.

I see him get up and start to come over here. His sister smiles and draws a heart with her fingers. I smile and wink at her. "Hey you were great." Chance says.
"Thanks. Glad you liked it."

I see her wink at someone and turn around to find my sister making some sort of gesture. She sees me and bolts off, leaving me confused. Flashing a smile, I glance back at Katie and just shake my head.
