I nod and smile, "Just a few more months."

Jace

I smile and nod back, "If only we were eighteen... we could do it now."

Rayah

I freeze, pulling away, "Uh...Jae, I am eighteen..."

Jace

I think, studying her, "Interesting... I, for some strange unknown reason, thought I was still seventeen. What month is it?"

Rayah

I clear my throat awkwardly, "Feburary...your birthday was last month. Mine was two weeks ago..."

Jace

I nod slowly, "I should lay off the Adderall... S'making me spacey. But okay then. We can still wait if you want to. It would be awkward being the only cheerleader with husband, I bet..."

Rayah

I chuckle, "Awkward? The head cheerleader is pregnant...and the assistant captian got plastic surgery and now her face is..." I bite my lip, "Rearranged."

Jace

I smile, "Wait... the head cheerleader is pregnant? With whose kid?"

Rayah

I think, "No one knows. She won't tell. She doesn't even have a boyfriend."

Jace

Nic had a fling with her back before he committed to Jackie... I nod and clear my throat, "So you would marry me then? Wear that ring on your finger in front of all your friends?"

Rayah

I nod, "They'd just be jealous."

Jace

I chuckle, "They would. So that's a yes for premature marriage?"

Rayah

I nod again, "Yes."

Jace

I smile and kiss her quickly, "Do you need an engagement ring?"

Rayah

I think, and kiss him back, "Only of you want me to have one."
