Mount Olympus [7]

Juliet

I wrap my arms around Preston's neck when we get inside, leaning against the wall as glancing at the people at the door.

Karan Zara

Whatever they were talking about Karan must have overheared the last bit of it, that yeild no information about where she was currently. She removed her blade from her back, and put on the side out of sight from where anyone who answered the door may be able to see it. Then Karan began to make herself look homeless, splash some wet mud on her face, tear her shirt a small but noticeable amount, and then mess up her hair. Hopefully the guy at the door would buy it, walking up to the door she knocked, and then the guy answered.

"Please sir, would you be as to kindly give this helpless homeless girl some shelter? Even if maybe for just this night?" I said in a weak tone.

Preston

Nic answers the door, studying the girl, "Uh.... Jackie, you're needed here."

Juliet

Jackie walks to the door, glancing back at us before studying the girl, "I'm sorry but our house is currently full in occupation. Try the neighbors, they are pretty nice. I woul let you in, but the baby is asleep and I have to go pick up my other from school."

Karan

A baby? Karan was good with kids.

"Please ma'm your neighbors have already turned me down, and I don't wanna spend another night in the cold." She said.

Preston

Nic stays quiet, letting Jackie--who I quickly pin as the leader of the house--make the decision.

Juliet

Understanding that she really can't let anyone else in, I watch as she shakes her head again, "I'm sorry but I can't. I already told you that this house is full. Try the people across from us."

Karen Zara

Before another word could be said, Karan flinched, reality twisted, and suddenly, she was gone.

Preston

The girl disappears and I stand there blinking a few times, watching as Nic confusedly turns around and shakes his head.

Juliet

It still awkward, I keep my arms around Preston's neck and Jackie shuts the door, hesitating before leaning against it and glancing upstairs.

Preston

I wrap my arms around Juliet and look at her, sighing.

Juliet

I kiss him quickly and Jackie shudders, "Please...never do that again. So weird."

Heh.

Preston

Nic shudders too and takes Jackie in his arms, "Yeah... don't."

Juliet

I shrug, "Why not?"

Preston

He studies her, "You know why."

"Can you guys answer my question now?" I sigh.
