Jace

I watch her, maintaining a smile, and shake my head.

Rayah

I smile and flip on my back again, putting my legs up so my knees are up as well, before looking at the ceiling.

Jace

I watch her before rolling on my back and folding my hands over my stomach.

Rayah

Not even realizing its raining outside, I jump when I hear lightning. Sighing, I flip on my stomach and bury my face in a pillow.

Jace

Sighing as well, I roll over and wrap an arm around her in comfort.

Rayah

I move closer to him, swallowing.

Jace

I move closer as well, wrapping my other arm around her, "S'okay, Ray."

Rayah

I nod slowly, taking a deep breath before standing and closing the blinds. I lean against the wall and slide down it, looking up at the ceiling before getting thirsty.

Jace

Studying her, I walk to her side and sit against the wall. I take her hand and sigh, "What's wrong? Other than the storm, I mean."

Rayah

I sighs and look at my legs, "I-I just don't..." I feel my forehead, "I feel hot. I haven't had anything to drink in a while."

Jace

I study her and wrap an arm around her, "Drink then. I'm right here."

Rayah

I shake my head, looking at him as my eyes land on his neck, tempting as I stay calm, "I'm not drinking from you, Jae."

Jace

I study her, "Why not?"

Rayah

"Because your my husband and it feels wrong."

Jace

"Why does it feel weird?" I ask.
