I chuckle and walk in, setting her down and sitting at the table, "I don't have this class, do I? I can't think straight today..."

I watch her go before looking back at the teacher, "If this is about that test you made me take after school the other day, I don't want to know. I don't care. That was messed up."
"It was a learning disorder test, you know," she says, students filing into the classroom behind me, before handing me an envelope. "Those are your results. I don't have the time to discuss them with you."
I look at the envelope before leaving the room, tempted to just throw it away.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I nod and hesitate before standing, kissing her forehead, "I'll see you later then. I've gotta figure out where I'm supposed to be."

I don't find Jackie, so I take the stairs to the roof. Closing the door behind me and wedging it shut, I walk to the edge and look at the envelope again, turning it over in my hands.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
