I shrug, "Woke up late. And oh! I'm leaving school right now. You can come if you want."

I study her, "Do you want to go to the hospital?"

I bring a hand to her stomach, "W-we're going to the hospital, Riley. Or the doctor."

I lead her to an alley and plop down in it, hating sunlight.

I study her, "What about your parents? I-I can't help you and I don't know what's wrong..."

I hesitate before sitting beside him, bringing my bag on my lap and fixing my bangs.

I shrug, hearing whispers- he actually did it....she's suffering help her....no she can handle herself...the baby is not--

I bring my hands to my ears, "Too many people talking."

I scoop her up and carry her back to her old house, knocking on the door.

I groan and take off, flying us to the hospital instead.
