Grayson

I pause time for everyone but me and Riley, using the time to get dressed.

Riley

I glance around before throwing in some clothes.

Grayson

I get dressed and wait until Riley is covered to resume time.

Riley

I sit on the side of the bed and let him resume time.

Grayson

Time goes back to normal and I look at Riley, standing to take Mariah in my arms.

Riley

I smile, and watch, Ella flashing out.

Grayson

I sit beside Riley on the bed, watching Mariah look around at all the feathers.

Riley

"Why messy?" She giggles, repeating.

Grayson

I smile, "Mommy and Daddy had some fun."

Riley

She claps, "Me wanna have fun!"

I cover my mouth with my hand and try not to laugh.

Grayson

I chuckle, "Not that kind of fun, Mari. But Daddy'll play whatever you want to."

Riley

She smiles but crawls on the pillows on the floor, "Me wanna play what you did," She giggles, her white- blonde hair covering one of her eyes.

Grayson

I shake my head, "Uh, no, baby girl. How about a pillow fight instead?"

Riley

She frowns, "Why...Why can't me do what you do?"

She gives us her eyes and I bite my lip, trying to think of an exuse that won't make her cry.

Grayson

I crouch before her, "Because what we did was what Mommys and Daddys do. When you're older, you'll understand."
