In the supermarket, I hold Mariah's hand as she tries to wobble over to the toy section. I sigh, and keep her close while putting the stuff we need into the cart. She puts her rattle in her mouth, her wings tucked neatly in her mini jacket, and slobbers all over my hand, "Me want toy," She pouts.
I shake my head and scoop her up, walking to the checkout before heading home and setting her down once we get there.
