Elijah

I take Alexis' hand and fly upwards as if it's nothing. We don't touch down until we're completely out of the neighborhood.

Alexis

We fly far away. We finally land and I look to him. "Do you think she is going to be okay?" I ask him.

Catherine

Tiamat's bone chilling roar that could be heard for miles, desended out of the sky slowly, the ancient and powerful dragon ready for my orders. But the Crystal Bearer's glow can still be seen, but once she noticed Tiamat, the junk and rubble from the earlier fight started to fly at Tiamat, only to have it all bounce harmlessly off the black dragon.

"Tiamat! Strike her down!" I order.

Tiamat roars again, desending from the sky until she finally touches the ground.

Elijah

I look at Alexis and shrug, "Hope so. I don't know though."

Alexis

I sigh and look up at him. "I hope she will be okay. I hate the dragoon side of me. Every time something happens in that part of my life, someone gets hurts."

Catherine

We attacked at the same time, me and Tiamat fighting her, she had little to fight back with, bullets were useless, even her Gatling Gun wasn't working. My spear spun in my hand as we fought, she evaded everything, she was quicker more fleixable than me. But eventually the fighting was slowing down, I was growing tired, summoning Tiamat took more out of me than expected. That's when I slow down to much, I get pinned by a car, I scream for help but I can see the Crystal Bearer, she had assembled a massive spike, I when I saw it, I saw my life pass before me.

Elijah

I nod and take Alexis' hand, focusing back on the fight.

Alexis

Chills rush through me as I watch. I grip Elijah's hand tighter and tighter, I do not know what to do. It does not feel right just sitting here.

Catherine

All my powers surge forth, but it wouldn't be enough, my life flashes before me, childhood, earliest teen years, obtaining, the Black Eyed Stone, and meeting Tiamat and Elijah and Alexis. Just as the thing lurches forth, a back shape covers me and the next thing I know, Tiamat goes down.

"Elijah, Alexis, your help would be nice right about now!" I yell.

Elijah

Still holding Alexis' hand, I dive into the air and head back to Catherine. I have no clue what to do, but I ignite my free hand in fire and decide to wing it anyways. Something is better than nothing.

Alexis

I am so sick of this sh*t. I give a small squeeze to Elijah's hand and then let go. Full of total rage, I charge at her.

Joseph

My buddies in tow, I head to the pool and make a straight cannonball off to the side. They whistle, and when I surface I understand why. At the center of the pool, looking mighty pissed at what I just did, floats one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen.

"Mel?" I ask, smoothing my wet blonde hair back. "Is that you?"

Melissa

I pull my sun glasses down and look at him. "Yes, hello again." I say. "It has been a while." I wipe the water off my face and cross my legs.

Joseph

I flash a smile and glance at my buddies, discretely ushering them away. They groan and head off towards the pool toys, messing with the kids around. Wiping the water from my face, I glance at Melissa again and can't believe how much she's changed.

"Yeah," I say. "A good six years. It's nice to see you again. Everyone thought you were gone for good. Where've you been?"

Melissa

I push my hair back and glance at him. "A little bit of every where." I say. I lay my head back again an enjoy the sun. This is the first time in years I have seen the sun.
