Alexis

They give me the keys and I sign papers. My brother hugs me again and kissesthe top of my head. "Are you going to sell the house?" He asks.

I shake my head. "No." I say.

"I did not think so." He says smiling. He shakes Elijah's hand. "Take care of her." He say.

Elijah

I nod and promise I will.

Alexis

I smile. "Well Lexi, the wife, kids and I will be down for your birthday. Love you." He says hugging me again.

"Love you too. Tell them I said hello." I say. " I miss them."

"We miss you too." He say. My mother and I say our good byes as well and they leave. I wrap my arms around Elijah and hug him.

Elijah

I hug Alexis back and sigh.

Alexis

"Can we go se the house?" I ask

Elijah

I nod, "Whatever you want."

Alexis

I smile and kiss him. We head to the car. We enter our neighborhood and drive a weird way that I have not been in forever. "You are not going to believe me when I say this was just her summer home." I say. We pull up to a gate with a black fence surroundings her whole property. I punch in four numbers,1396." The gate opens and I pull in her long drive way. At the end was a huge, beautiful mansion. When I say huge, I ment humongous.

Elijah

I truly don't believe her, looking at it. How could something so big only be used for one season out of the year?

Alexis

The astonished look o. His face was adorable. We get out of the car and I take his hand. "My grand mother hand more money than she could handle. She bought this house to get me away from my father for the summer. It is bigger on the inside" I say. I unlock the door and we walk in. Two huge stair cases are in front of us, leading to the upstairs.

Elijah

I still don't know what to say, amazed at everything.

Alexis

I hold his hand and show him around. "Sometimes my grandmother held charity events here. That is why there's a ball room. I had my sweet sixteen here." I say. I show him all the bedrooms and the family rooms. Then we get to the pool room. Theere is a huge pool in the middle and a room with the hot tube out to the side. The pool is half way covered, but is still out side. "This place was a huge part of my life." I say to him.

Elijah

I nod and listen to her, keeping her hand in mine.

Alexis

We go sit on one of the swinging couches and I lean on him.

Elijah

I wrap an arm around her and take a deep breath, thinking.

Alexis

I keep my hand in his and look around. All the precious memories are playing out right in front of me.
