Elijah

I smile back and close my eyes as well, holding her.

Alexis

I smile as he holds me. I slowly drift off.

Elijah

I fall asleep as she does, lying back.

Alexis

I awake and slide out of Elijah's arms. I walk down stairs and clean up, knowing my mom and brother are coming.

Eljiah

I wake the next morning and head downstairs.

Alexis

As soon as I finish cleaning, Eligah comes down stairs. "Morning. How are you feeling?" I ask him

Elijah

I yawn, "Better. You?"

Alexis

I shrug. "I have been better." I say

Elijah

I nod and walk to her, kissing her forehead.

Alexis

I smile and hug him.

Elijah

I smile and hug her back.

Alexis

"What would you like for breakfast?" I ask him.

Elijah

I shrug, "Whatever you're up to making."

Alexis

About thirty minutes later, I am done. I get out two plates and pour the food on them. "What did you make?"he asks.

"Breakfast Casserole. It has egg, sausage, potatoes and cheese in it. It's my favorite." I say taking the plate over to the table.

Elijah

I smile and thank her, sitting before one of the plates and digging in.
