I shake my head. "No." I say. Then an idea sparks me. "We should learn how to fly."

I nod and close my eyes. My white wings come out. I look to him and he flashes a smile. I smile back. I start to flap my wings, but nothing is happening. "I do not understand how birds do this." I say. I try numerous times. I will get two feet off the ground, but then fall. I grunt and try again. I get someone high, but end up falling on the ground. I sit up in the sands and wipe my legs off. "I give up." I say looking to him.

I cringe every time she falls, stopping myself from telling her to stop. She gives up and I sigh, nodding. My eyes run over her wings, finding them fascinating, before I look back at her face, "You'll get it eventually."
