Ethan

I step into the bedroom and freeze when I get there, finding someone standing by the window. I glance at the stereo before flicking my gaze back to the figure, not lowering the gun, "Who are you? What do you want?"

Rose

"Is there anyone else in the house, Ethan." I said though a voice changer.

My voice though the voice changer made me sound like a guy, I stood there arms folded as I watch Ethan. The mask identifying the gun, it was a CZ45. Fully loaded and safety was off. Wonderful, Ethan could kill me if he decides to.

"Tell me who you are first!" He demanded.

"I can't unless I know there is no one else." I said.

Ethan

I study the figure before glancing behind me to find Whitney still downstairs.

"Yes," I say, not wanting her or our baby to be hurt if this person turned out hostile, "Now who the hell are you and what the f**k do you want?"

Rose

I walked forward until the gun was pressed up against my chest at point blank aimed at my heart.

"Who are they, how many, and do they have any connection to a group called The Black Dragons?" I ask,

Ethan

I study the figure, standing my ground, "Civilians. Who the hell are the Black Dragons?"

Rose

"Figures." I said.

I reach behind Ethan and close the door behind him, then go to the stereo and turn it down just enough to barely hear it.

"Release, mask restraints." I said.

My mask pops off and my long hair falls out, I shake my head from side to side to get it all straightened out.I look down seeing my reflection in the mask then turn the mask still in hand.

"I knew it had to be you, your the only one who can design something like that." Ethan said not lowering the gun.

"I'm on the run from a group called The Black Dragons, turns out you tick one off and you get the whole gang to come out and play." I said.

Ethan

I study her, hoping Whitney doesn't think anything more of this than what it is, "What do you want from me? Why are you here?"

Rose

"I need help, they broke into my home and raided everything. My computers, my gear, my pets, everything. And I need a place to stay for awhile so I can regroup and take back what's mine." I said.

Ethan

I blink a few times, not sure if I'm hearing things right, "So you break into my house and scare the living sh*t out of me and my girlfriend? Do you not remember what happened the last time you were around here?"

Rose

"I was stupid, not thinking logically. And emotionally torn. Ethan, everything that happened a month or two ago, can we just put it behind us and just be friends?" I ask.

Ethan

I turn the stereo off and open the door behind me, walking downstairs and to Whitney without a response to Rose. I'm not saying anything without her okay. This isn't just my house.

"Whit... there's a problem," I say, getting to the kitchen.

Whit

I look up at Ethan, studying him, "Yeah?"

Ethan

I set the gun on the counter and walk closer to her, setting a hand on the side of her face, "She's here. She wants a place to stay or something... I said nothing. I wanted to know what you thought first."

Whit

I swallow and look down, "Bring her down here."

Ethan

I study her and kiss her forehead before heading upstairs, "Downstairs. Now."
