Fear-scape (Started!!)

Hello, guys! This is my first storybook so it might not be all that good...
But, anyway, let me start.

First thing you have is a nightmare. Featuring your worst fear.
Then you wake up in a tunnel. It's dark, it's musty, and it smells like sewer water and dead rats. (Picture included)

Mind you, it's darker than that. The picture above is where you wake up in. But as you journey more, you can reach a stony version of the tunnel.

There are eight (8) people including you in the tunnel. They all look scared stiff. And you don't remember anything from your past. Or why you're there. Just your name.

Suddenly, a chillingly beautiful voice speaks, apparently from nowhere and says this.

Hola, everyone. *chuckle* I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here. I'll tell you. In these tunnels, you will face your worst fears. Your most chilling nightmares will come to life. So don't dream anymore than you've already dreamt...And try not to get killed. Last person left standing...or alive...will get out. Have fun.

You realize the nightmares come alive in the night. Picked off from the nightmare you had at the beginning. A night is exclusive to each person and their nightmare. You all fight it along with the person who had them. You all try to protect each other as best as you can with the powers you discover yourself having in the first fight.

But some may die...(permission must be asked from me and that person.)

And some might get out alive...

And some may uncover the secret behind the situation they've been put in.

3. Swearing allowed, but again, no explicitness, please.
4. As stated above, you cannot kill off a character without both mine's and the that YWSer's permission.

6. Violence is OK,(of course, not between characters) even encouraged. I won't mind anything gory or bloody or anything totally disgusting. But keep it to a minimum, considering the younger members.

Going to try my hand with a girl character for once =P

Name: Elvira

Age: 18

Gender: Girl

Appearance: Elvira is pretty, in a plain way. Tall and kind of on the middle, she has very straight Auburn hair that she parts in the middle and keeps in a French braid. She's pale, with nondescript features and greenish-brown eyes. She wears jeans, a plain light blue polo, and black sneakers - she isn't one to stand out.

Personality: Elvira's personality matches her appearance - sometimes. She can be quiet and wallflower-ish. Or she can be bossy, making sure everyone is on their best behavior. She will NOT tolerate cussing for example, and she hates when people panic. Usually, she's able to stay calm in the face of danger. Unless, of course, she faces her fear. Then all bets are off.

Fear: Elvira's mother had a gift with storytelling. She would take Bible stories and bring them to life for the little girl every night. And so Elvira grew terrified of demons; those creatures that could enter a human and make them turn into mad, writhing... Things. As she grew older, the fear never faded away completely. Her worst fear is being possessed by a demon, closely followed by seeing someone else possessed.

Power: Coincidentally, Elvira can cast things out. Poisons, ghosts, and yes demons- she can cast it/them away. She doesn't know how to control this, however.

Up for love? Yes, straight.

Other: Elvira wears diamond stud earrings in the shape of a cross. They're a gift from her mother, and she'll never part with them as long as she lives. Elvira is also a strong Christian, which causes her great discomfort when surrounded by all this crazy evilness.

Name: Adeline - "Addy"

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Addy is on the shorter side, about five feet four inches, with a toned, athletic build. She has plain, slightly wavy light brown hair, usually kept in a ponytail, cinnamon brown eyes, and clear skin, with a few freckles on her nose and cheeks. She has a pretty face, although she usually wears some sort of mischievous smirk. A typical Addy outfit includes a t-shirt, jeans, her worn lace-up boots, and a jacket.


Personality: Addy is a confident, outgoing (and sometimes silly) girl who will strike up a conversation with anyone. She's a free spirit, rarely taking orders from anyone, unless she's already agreed to do so. She's very smart, and takes pride in her problem-solving and math skills. She's a huge space nerd, and will spew for hours if anyone will listen. Although she's quite tolerant, Addy will sometimes start friendly arguments, for sport. She loves debating with people, but is very hard to sway once she's made up her mind. She's calm and collected, and rarely ever panics. She values friendship, integrity, and logic above all else, but she can be very blunt, and her sarcastic sense of humor can sometimes get on people's nerves.

Fear: Being an intellectual, Addy's greatest fear is ignorant people in positions of power (and anything and everything that could happen because of it). Her nightmares often resemble dystopian novels.

Power: Addy can see the entire electromagnetic spectrum (see Other) so she's never blind, even when everyone else is (she just switches to a different wavelength).

Up for love? Yes, bi.

Other: Addy's passion is astronomy, and she's practically an expert. She has a Kitt Peak Observatory tee, and she has a meteorite necklace that she never takes off. She loves music, and almost always has her ipod with her. She also has a pretty good singing voice.

Hey I am going to writer a profile for a female, but will change it to male if needed. (But I would rather be a girl)

Reserving a male position, I've always wanted to see a horror SB...

Name: (Severus)

Age: (17)

Gender: Male.

Appearance: He wears a long, black overcoat, his long black hair reaching down to his waist. His eyes are mismatched - the right eye a vibrant green, the other a dull blue. His appearance was always important to him, and he took great care to cultivate it (as was apparent). A black tattoo ran down his right arm, composed of winding shadow-like patterns. He wore gloves. He was two metres tall exactly.

Personality: Severus is rather quiet in his nature. He often does not enjoy confronting people, and perhaps a little shy. He takes his liberties in judging others, though, although he does attempt to be as objective as possible, as well as does not judge too soon. Valuing logic above all else, he does not tolerate decisions based merely on emotions (unless there would be logic in those decisions). He would often speak the truth even if it would harm another's emotions, but might refrain from doing so at times, especially if there are logical reasons.

Fear: He fears... Terrible bodily alterations. The Fly would be a great example of such things. Things like nails falling out, puss oozing from one's eyes... People beginning to spit digestive fluids onto food in order to be able to eat it <.< I am not sure what would quality as realistic, but you get the idea ^^ Anything terrible to do with the body that he can imagine having...

Power: On the palm of his right hand is an eye. It's fully functional, and appears to have a mind of its own. He can not control it. The eye can see past all illusions, seeing the reality behind things; but he can not see through it, and it had never communicated with him in any way so far. He does not remember how he got it, and keeps it concealed from everyone under a glove.

Up for love? Um, sure. Straight ^^

Other: Severus is strongly atheistic, and does not tolerate prayer etc. as an attempt to solve a problem. Has a general love for horror, but mostly just of the atmospheric kind.

(I wonder who the character reminds me off ^^])

Name: Jason (Jay, to his friends ^^ (Pfft ^^))

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: He's tall with short black hair, and striking blue eyes. He usually wears a white T-Shirt with random black designs and a black undershirt. He mostly only wears jeans and sneakers too, along with a pair of black dog-tags hanging around his neck (one embeded with a cross, the other with the initail 'J'). (Basically just like the pic minus the hat and earing ^u^)

Personality: He's kinda reserved; although he isn't mean or angry at anyone, he seems withdrawn like half of him is somewhere else. It's like there's this inpenitrable, invisible wall between you and him. It might look like he's looking at you through it, but he really isn't. It's like his eyes are blank. He has a tendancy to stare out into space.
He won't talk. Ever. Very rarely will he even open his mouth. (So please, Don't have him talk ^^) He'll only talk when he finds it ultra important, or when he has opened up to someone ^^ Even if he's in the middle of his fear, he wouldn't cry out; his facial expression would be screaming enough.
Although he's very unresponsive, if someone is in danger he won't just stand by and let them die. Even if he didn't know them he'd do his best to save them even at the cost of his own life. After he had finish save them he'd probably just keep going, seeming not even to register the fact he'd saved someones life (it's happened before, just like that ^^)
Despite his fear, he'd probably keep at the back of a group, unless he's made friends in which he'll be by them. He's immune to any kind of personal charm someone may have.
Although when he was a kid he was very out-going and talkative, if he ever opened up to anyone now he'd probably be shy and quiet.
If he ever feels comfortable where he is, or if he's trying to console himself when he's somewhere he's scared, he'll sing quietly to himself so no one else can hear. Although he does this, he still hasn't recognized his love/talent for music.
His face is almost always expresionless. (If/when he opens up a bit, he'll make facial expressions to convery his moods and thoughts)


Fear: Lemme explain the story first ^^
When he was a little kid (and adorable!! X3) he was running across a frozen lake to catch up with his cousins who had let him come play with them for the day. He had a crazy smile on his face and was so happy to play with them. . . until the ice gave way underneath his feet. He fell. As his upper body smacked into the ice he was able to keep part of himself up. But he was slipping. He called for his cousins to help him, but they just stood there and watched. His eyes widened as he realized they wern't coming. He slipped under.
He lived, (obviously ^u^) but since then slowly stopped trusting people. He doesn't bear hatred towards people, he just slipped adway (Pfft, sorry. The word I used X3) But he still has nightmares of himself just falling and the people around him just staring at him with blank faces, uncaring as he strugles for life. That's his biggest fear. (He's sometimes drowning, falling throught the floor, being dragged into darkness, ect. ^^)

Power: He has wings (the big kind you can actually fly with ^^) They're feathered and as black as ink ^^

Up for love? Yes ^^ Straight. Good luck getting through his wall though ^^

Other: He has a secret love of music that he himself doesn't even know about ^^ Something tells me if he tried, he'd be good at playing the piano and singing.

Name: Annabelle

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance: Annabelle has soft features. She has light skin and light brown hair. It is wavy, but not curly. She has bright blue eyes. She is pretty short. Like really short and really skinny.

Personality: She is the youngest on in the group. Somehow, she is always the baby. Is is small and does not look very strong, but she is. She hates it when people treat her like she is a child and pity her. She is very underestimates and she hates it. She is a very strong girl, emotionally and physically. (You cannot really tell though.) It takes her a while to open up to you. But once you get her talking, she might not be able to stop. She has the cutest laugh in the world. She can make you smile at all times.

Fear: She has the fear of drowning because she cannot swim

Power: She can calm you down with her touch and voice. Her voice is very soothing and relaxing. He voice lowers your heart rate.

Up for love: Yes!!

Other: She has a locket with her family in it. She gets her toughness from her four older brothers.

Name: Autumn

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: She's 5 "3" and has long dark hair with bangs, smoky-grey, bewitching eyes, tiny lips which are almost always in a lopsided smile. She's thin and wears currently, cotton shorts and a loose black t-shirt. She also puts on a sweater when she gets uncharacteristically cold. Habits: Tends to bite her lips a lot. She wears her hair in two ponytails. She's what you'd call "cute."

Imagine her, but with longer hair in two pony tails.

Personality: She appears happy at most times, always having a silly smile on her face or thinking about the positives of the current situation. But it's only when others are around... She's not afraid of talking to strangers. She's a quick-thinker, although she doesn't look it. (Basically a good strategist.) But...she's not that confident in herself. She thinks that she's too different from the others. And for some reason, if you ever catch her off guard, or see her when she thinks she's alone, you can see she has a sort of haunted look on her face...although you don't see it, she's quite scared. But she's kind. That's for sure. Too kind, I suppose.

Fear: She fears loneliness. Her worst fear is being completely and utterly alone.

Power: She's able to control plants. She can make them grow or wilt at will. She's also able to bring forth fruits or produce from them and also drain water from them. Which is the main reason why everyone survives for so long. But whenever she does it, there's side-affects. She can get terribly cold and terribly weak. She can also use her plants to fight. They're surprisingly good "soldiers."

Up for love? Yeah. She's straight.

Other: Maybe she's hiding something? Maybe she's not?
