The day had started like any other. I was woken up at exactly seven and hauled down to the cafeteria. There I would sit down in the farthest corner and sulk in my own madness.
As I looked around I could see kids my age running around laughing some even clapping stupidly in the air hoping to catch the fly that wasn't there.
I was given food, what it was I hope I will never know but it tasted like warm water. After we "finished" eating we like always were given pills, the first few days I just took them and was satisfied for getting free drugs.
Then I started to feel weird my tounge got numb, couldn't think straight and at night the ghost's (yeah I can see ghost's) almost ate me up. I had thought that these kinds of drugs were suppose to help you with hallucinations. Clearly I was wrong.
One day I denied the pill, but they wouldn't take no for an answer, they forced it down my throught and gave me a seditive. When I woke up the next day I had decided to not do that again but taking the drug was out of the question.
So after that I just faked it, I put it in my mouth drank and didn't swallow. After breakfast we are taken to our rooms to wait for a meeting, class or any other activities. When I gets to my room I takes the pill out of my mouth, smash it with a book and throw the dust out of the barred window.
The rest of the day I usually just lay in bed and read, as to my "activities" no can do. Sitting around with a couple of weirdos all day really isn't my thing. So the day started out normal then there was the black out.
As always I was laying in bed reading Huckleberry Finn when my reading lamp went out. I clicked at the button twice and nothing, giving out a low sigh I stood up and opened the door.
Darkness took over, my eyes were useless. Feeling the fear creep up my back like tiny little spiders, I walked on. I felt the way with my hands and slowly made my way to the front desk.
A woman walked by me, head all bloody. I looked away knowing no help would come from her. I called out my doctors name but no reply. Then I heard it a growl coming from the end of the hall. It was still to dark for me to see what it was but I didn't care I just ran.
