Jace

Oh crap. What did I just say?

Nic stands with me and quickly comes to stand before me in defense.

"Yeah, uh, sure," he nods at Gemini before looking at Rayah, "And you... well, I don't even know what to say. Jace doesn't lie... much, but you... We'll have a talk later, I guess."

Gemini

I look suspitiously at the three as I try to figure out if he's lying or not, I narrow my eyes around the room trying to see if there was anything that could tell me or not. Unable to tell I make for the window but turn back for a quick second.

"If I find out your lying, then I'm going to beat the livng hell out of Rayah, and you will watch Jace." I threaten.

Rayah

Wait, what?

I palen and Jackie stands infront of me protectively, arms crossed.

Jace

My knees shake and I drop, shaking slightly. Nic makes sure I'm sitting up before turning around.

"He's... yeah," he nods nervously, "Oh sh*t..."

Gemini

"I'll be sticking around for a few more minutes, so byeee." I said jumping out the window.

Rayah

I look at Jace and give him an evil stare before shoving him against the wall, "What the hell?! I'm pregnant? That's the best you could come up with?!"

Jackie swears and tries to pull me back, failing epicly and to only be elbowed in the face.

Jace

I blink out of my boxed in thoughts as I hit the wall and look at Rayah in fear and confusion. Nic jumps in between us before she can hit me again, creating a light shield around us.

"Calm down, please," he says, "Of all things, he's not going to --"

"I don't know," I interrupt, "I don't know what I said... why I said it."

Rayah

"She's gonna f*cking kill me!" I tell in his face, "You...ugh!"

I look at Jackie and she looks at me, a black eye now 'cause of what I did to her, "I can't...do anything about this," she says slowly, "I don't want to either. You either make it true or you get beaten to death...which I can't protet you from."

I ball up my hair and collapse burying my face in my knees.

Jace

I watch her before tearing up and looking down to compose myself, closing my eyes.

I-I'll go. Gemini, wherever you went... I'll go. I won't fight; I can't... but I'll go. Leave them all alone.

Rayah

I take a deep breath and look up, I can handle myself. I'm strong. I can defend myself.

I look at Jackie and she's about to breakdown. I look at Jace, "I'm...I'm sorry. I didn't..." I think, "I can do this."

Jace

I look up at her and shake my head, studying her, "I'm... I'm not damning you with a child in your teenage years. I'm not ruining your life more than I already have..."

Rayah

I study him, "Jace...you haven't ruined my life. It won't change anything..." I look at Jackie and I can tell she's not comfortable with talk about pregnancy by the way she's looking at her stomach. I swallow and look back at Jace, "But whatever. I can fight her. I just...don't wanna risk anything."

Jace

I shake my head, "And getting pregnant isn't a risk in your book?"

Rayah

I glance up at him and raise an eyebrow, "And getting killed is any better?"

Jace

I look away and tighten my jaw, not saying anything more. You just met me yesterday. This is all the wrong reasons to have a child...
