Nic appears before the window and I nearly jump, shaking my head and glaring at him.

Someone appears by the window and I swallow, Jackie texting me again.

I look at her, confused, and take Rayah's hand again, wondering what's wrong, "Wait... how are you going to save us? There's no problem here..."

I sigh and feel something behind me, freezing. I glance back and jump when I see Jackie leaning against the wall, "What the f*ck?"

She laughs, crouching infront of me before putting her hand to my forehead and checking my temperature, "I love doing that..."

I glance around at everyone and take my head in my hands for a moment, taking a deep breath. I don't understand any of this.
