I follow her out and lose my smile when she slams into a guy and tumbles to the ground with him. Swearing, I help her up and then turn to the guy, "You both okay?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I can't remember if I gave this guy a last name before...so I am now. If I'm wrong, whatever.
Louis
I nod and glance at Sam to make sure she's okay. Seeing as she's playing with the tazer, I think she is. Sighing, I glance at the guy and nod politely, "Um, Louis Hamil. Sorry about everything."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
The girl leans up on the wall examining her tazer intently, the boy turns to me and aims to shake my hand.
"Um, Louis Hamil. Sorry about everything." He glances at me and shakes my hand.
"Lois, that's a good name. I used to know a fellow named Louis, wonderful fellow. Got electrocuted. Oh wait, I did that. Nevermind." I finish, still shaking his hand.
"Okay, sir." He says meekly.
"No, My name isn't sir, my name's Mercury. Call me Mercury." I say, shaking his hand furiously.
I watch them, chuckling, "Done with you're bromance yet?" I joke, finding the trigger on the tazer. I swallow and don't pull it, looking it onto my belt instead while crossing my arms.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
"Bromance? I don't think so, he certainly has those type of qualities that may be construed as handsome or desirable. But he's not my type, I'm into the ladies." I say.
"You seem to have a wonderful personality." The girl named Sam remarks, I smile.
"You would think more women would see that!" I say. The boy Louis sighs.
Shaking my head at myself, I sigh before crossing my arms again, "What you first said..." I look at him, "Was very...creepy. By the way. And, I like you're hair."
He smiles and I shake my head again, studying the tazer at my hip again.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Suddenly I realize that this conversation is going no where. So I decided to take action.
"Well I've had my fun!" I laugh hysterically, shock Louis in the stomach and knock him out.
"What the?" Sam yells, and grabs for the Tazer. She shoots it at me, I grab the prongs, and re'rout the electricity right at her. Knocking her out too.
I look around, there's like one person in the hallway; he looks pretty shady.
"I knocked them out! Take there money!" I say, laughing hysterically. And walking away, through the city and back on my way to Aradia.
I come to, a tingling sensation burning in my stomach, and groan. Taking my head in my hands, I sit up and swallow at the pain both my wounds are giving me again.
"Sam?" I call, remembering her being with me, "You there?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Should we not walk? On our feet? The ones I now have again? I do like my feet. They are befittingly perambulatory. — Pattern (Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson)
