I take a shower and wash all the paint off myself and my hair, dressing into a flowy mini dress and red heels. I put bright red lipstick on and do my hair in a messy fishtail braid, grabbing a side bag and heading out once its time.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I sneak inside and nearly make it to my room undiscovered until Adrian comes out of his and freezes in his tracks.
"I don't... I don't even want to know," he shakes his head, continuing into the kitchen.
I flash a smile and quickly shower, washing the paint off of me and out of my hair. Once done, i dress into a button up and dark jeans with dressier shoes. Fixing my hair, I take a deep breath before heading out and realize this is the first time I've gone anywhere in this town without my jacket or something to hide my eyes with.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I reach the building and climb the stairs until I reach the rooftop, finding Whitney already there and pacing around. Flashing a smile, I walk to her and look out at the city, "It really is nice from up here."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I smile back and nod, glancing at her from the corner of my eye and getting an idea. Stepping onto the ledge, I flash a smile and muster up enough of the wind's energy to bend it around me, "C'mere. You ever skydive?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I look out at the city and second guess myself for a moment. No. I can do this. There's enough in the air tonight. Looking back at her, I flash a smile, "Do you trust me?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I concentrate, flashing another smile, and take a step off the ledge. The energy from the wind forms an invisible solid beneath my feet and I look back at her, "Just trust me. C'mon."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
