You are dead. You don't know how long, and you are bored out of your mind. Being a ghost and all, there's not much to do. A few of you can go down the road from your house, but most of you can't go further then your doorstep. You have some gifts, such as speed or visiblity, but how long can that amuse you. ANd een more pressing...
Are you going to be stuck there forever?
The answer?
No.
In reality, there is a whole city, floating on top of the real one (nobody really knows which city it is) that is completely run, manged, and ruled by ghosts; the Ome. They see all, know all (dealing with other ghosts, anyways) but all of them has an undying nagging in the pit of their stomach; to be alive again.
And they are trying their hardest to get that wish fufilled. There is an old legend of a ghost who was so powerful, that he could fufill wishes. But he faded long ago.
But, then again, there is his grand-child.
But he/she doesn't know the full extent of her/his power.

Your job?

You will be drafted into Project Deveron or into Project Gramstone, groups of ghosts chosen to fight wanderers, or ghosts that have been lost and gone mad. Their new mission is to attack each other in an attempt to "control the other project's insanity", when really, they are the fighters of the Ome and trying to discover which of the people are the Grand-child.

Female Deveron!

Name: Echo Diner

Gender: Female

Gift: speed. She can go incredibley fast when she wants to, but to her it looks like time is slowing down.

How they died: Echo can't remember. All she can recall is getting up at night, it was dark, and then pain before seeing herself fall to the ground, dead. SHe's been trying to gain what she can from police men that show up, but they're as lost as she is.

Appearance: Echo looks 19 but has been dead for over ten, and is basically average looking, with brown hair and dark eyes. Her clothes consists of a black shirt and jeans, along with a black fadora wiht a little grey flower on one side.

Personality: Echo is tough. She was really into martial arts while she was alive, and so now is very good at it. She will usually be the first to talk, but then listens through most of the conversation. If you hurt her, she'll usually make light of it, but inside it hurts, even though she doesn't show it.

Life/history: Echo was an orphan, left on the doorstep of an orphanage where she lived for ten years before running away. It wasn't that it was bad. It was that she had to go after her pet stray cat named foodles. She traveled from city to city living as a street urchin, stealing for food and water. She met others like her, and heard about a place in India where they taught you how to fight. SHe decided she wanted to go there when she was around 15, and saved up enough money to go by the time she was 16. She learned from the best she could find all of the martial arts she could find, and at last headed home when she was eighteen. She found an abandoned building that was scheduled to be knocked down in a few months, and that's where she had been staying she she died, for what seemed no appearant reason. Because of her death and the ongoing investigation (or at least one that keeps coming up), the building's demolition keeps getting pushed back, and Echo hopes it stays that way.

Other: In the orphanage, the orphans that came with money got to eat first, so she kind of has a hatred for rich "snotty-mouths" as she would say.

Name: Alcander Deveraux

Gender: Male

Gift: Alcander has the ability to read ghosts' and people's pasts on them (drawing out memories)

How they died: Poisened at the age of 24 at a friend's dinner party in the 1800s. He had ambitions in court and had gone too far against an unknown opponent.

Appearance: pale skin, raven black hair, sea green eyes, lanky, huge hands and feet, prominent jaw bones

Personality: A natural leader, Alcander knows when to fight and when to wait. Centuries of being dead have isolated Alcander from feelings of remorse and often speaks his mind or the truth even when it is the most painful. Since he died a bachelor, Al is constantly seeking companions for the eternal but is still very awkward it the ways of romance.

Life/history: Alcander was born and groomed in a prominent household in London in the 1800s. He was richer than most and his parents (who he found out later adopted him from the slums) trained him for the politics of the elite. Many were surprised to find him a talented speaker and politician so one night his tongue was silenced forever.

Other: Will you tell us which category our ghost is in? I don't know which is which too. (which is the one where you are a warrior and which is where you are crazy?)
