Gemini

I look at Jason stunned that he had to do something and not tell me about it, I shock not knowing what to think. And somehow I had a hunch of what he had done, I tried to remain composed looking down at our feet then back at him to meet his gaze hopefully ready for whatever it was.

Jason

I take a deep breath and calm myself, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, "Y-you remember the stories of mortal heroes, right?"

Pausing, I read her expression and feel my heart ache at whatever reaction she might jump to.

"I...I've been seeing things since we were made gods," I try to explain, "And I saw you captured, hurt, killed... I couldn't have that. A few days later, I had another vision and saw your rescuer. A mortal hero...with my eyes."

Gemini

I was shaky now, captured? Killed? Who other than the gods have the power to kill a god? Only twelve people on all of Olympus have the power to kill gods and goddesses, that was her, Jason and the ten others. But what bothered her more, a mortal hero with his eyes? That scared Gemini badly. She had no words to say, all she could do, was listen.

Jason

I take both her hands and watch her carefully, setting my forehead against hers, "I did what I had to do... to save you, Gem. I-I can't lose you. Please understand."

Rayah

I sigh and nod, Riley's eyes still a milky white, "They're coming, mommy. We...We need to hide," She whispers, "Dont leave."

I kiss her forehead and look at Logan, his eyes the same way. Twins have the same thoughts...

I swallow and look at Jace, unsure wether to do as she says or not.

Jackie

I flash a smile and kiss him for a while, still below him, before moving my lips to his neck. I kiss it once before sinking my fangs into it, closing my eyes as a take a few mouthfuls.

Gemini

It all made sense to Gemini now, tears rolled down the corners of her eyes she blinked and even more came rushing out. She had no anger, no hatred, no fury to unleash, no nothing. Instead she cried, heartbroken of the man she loved, the one who had cheated on her without saying a word about any of this. Gemini fell and Jason caught her crying, what else was she to do? Gemini had been faithful to Jason and this was how she was rewarded.

Jace

I swallow and take her hand again, looking around. Let's go. I don't like this uncertainty. It won't hurt to hide for a bit.

I smile and close my eyes, wrapping my arms around her and remaining as calm as possible. A sick feeling knots in my gut but I force it away, clearing my mind.

Jason

I hold her close and try my best not to cry with. Kissing the top of her head, I tighten my grip and wish this wasn't so difficult.

"Gem, I couldn't lose you," I repeat, my voice wavering, "Please. Understand that. It was nothing more than me trying to save you. Nothing of the sort will ever happen again."

Gemini

Gemini cried for seemingly hours, right there on the ground with Jason holding her in his arms. Jason asked her to stand and she did, Gemini folded her arms as if in defiency but she knew it was no use. Her eyes were red and puffy from her crying, if Jason's claim turned out to be true then Gemini had no choice but to spare the woman who got a godly partner in her bed. They walked down the halls together, it was quiet and Jason knew why, this claim of seeing Gemini die had better be true or the woman was gonna die. They entered the throne room and Gemini sat on her throne, happy none of the other gods were not around. Jason walked over to the reflective pool probably putting it on 3D mode so Gemini could see it.

Jason

Each breath is ten times more difficult than the last, my heart in shattered pieces at seeing her so broken by my actions. I know that there is only one thing that would stand a chance in helping her see. Leading her down to the throne room, I flip the reflective pool on 3D mode and focus all my memories of the visions into it. Closing my eyes, I hope that it will only show her capture, her near death, and her rescue. Anything more and I fear she would break completely...

Rayah

I sigh and and nod, letting him lead to his brothers house.

Jackie

I pull back and lick my lips, "Thank you, baby."

Gemini

I watch the projection, my eyes widen as I see my own capture, and then being crushed in the vice grip of some huge hand. Judging by my struggling I had no energy left, and not enough strength to pull free. Then I slip down in the palm and I see myself crushed in the grip, I look terrified when it does happen. Then it stops, the image shifts to a girl who looked about sixteen years of age. I knew she was a child of Jason I could tell by her eyes, they were the same as Jason's eyes. She held up a sword with two others around her, it looked like she was challenging her captor. It ends and I look down not sure what to make of it, I look up at Jason and stand.

"Is that why, is that why you went off with some other woman?" I asked in a quiet tone.

Jace

I lead us to Alyx's in a rush and find him waiting outside for us.

"Saw you guys coming," he explains, opening the door for us, "You can take cover in the basement. I don't know what's up though."

I flash a smile and open my eyes, looking at her and yawning, "No problem."

Jason

My eyes sting at the way she words it, swallowing and nodding. I hesitate before walking to her and twining our hands again.

"I can't lose you..." I repeat in a broken whisper.

Gemini

I look down for a minute to think then back up at Jason.

"Next time, tell me ok? If I knew my life depended on it, then I would have been okay with it. I would have allowed you to go and sire this hero, but only on the promise you came back right away to my side." I said.

I look up at Jason this time more meaningful glance, I throw myself into his arms hugging him tightly trying to keep the waterworks from happening again.

Jason

I nod and hug her back, holding her as if my own life depended on it. I don't want there to be a next time... Closing my eyes, I try and let everything go. My guilt is replaced by peace, knowing that she's no longer cross or broken by my actions. I kiss her cheek and nod again.

"I'm sorry," I say, not sure what else to.

Gemini

I kiss him and he kisses me back just as passionate as I remember him doing before all of this, I pull away and look at Jason giving him a wolfish grin.

"Jason lets go back to our room and do something we haven't in a long time." I said.
