Jackie runs out, swearing, and I stand, "What was it?"

"I'm pregnant," she breathes.

I freeze, "Call Nic."

She shakes her head, "No..."

I shake her shoulders, "Why not?!"

"He'll freak out."

"He's gonna find out sooner or later, Jackie."

J.S.

I fizzle out and end up in the kitchen, stuck in the room. Wonderful. Now what am I supposed to do?

Jackie

I ignore Rayah and run downstairs out of the house and into mine. One I get there, I make a run for the couch and plop down, staring at my stomach.

Rayah

I follow Jackie but stop at the door, sighing, "She's gonna freak out..."

J.S.

I set my hand on the kitchen door and fall through it, finally freed from it, only to find Rayah near the front.

Jackie comes running home and plops down on the couch, staring at her stomach. I don't make note of it, watching Halee and the twins connect. Alyx nods at me and I head over to Jackie, sitting at her side.

"Hey, how's Rayah?" I ask.

Rayah

I sigh, turning around to see Jace, "Hey."

Jackie

I snap out of my trance and blink, "Who?"

J.S.

I flash a smile and walk to her. Hey. I'm...never going in the kitchen again. I-I got stuck.

I flash a smile and study her, "Rayah. I asked you how she is."

Rayah

I chuckle at him, crossing my arms, "Wow."

Jackie

"Oh she's fine," I say, looking back down at my stomach.

I start to feel something and wrap my arms around it, "I'm tired..." I lie, "I'm going to sleep."

I run upstairs and double over in the bathroom. Oh god...

I flash a smile and nod, walking towards her. Yeah. Not fun.

I watch her, finding it weird, but don't head up to meet her right away. Instead, I pick up Halee and set her to bed, showing Alyx where he can put the twins down.

"Does she know I'm staying?" he asks.

I shake my head, "I'll tell her when I go up. Just take the couch. There's blankets in the hall closet."

He nods and I start up the stairs.

Rayah

I watch him, smiling, "I bet it isn't."

Jackie

I wash my mouth out and change, sighing and plopping in bed.

I wrap my arms tight around my stomach and throw a pillow over my head.

J.S.

I flash a smile and shake my head, holding out my hand for her. Why don't you get some rest? Or something to eat? I'll stay with you, promise.

I change into sweatpants and lay beside Jackie, turning off the lights and kissing her shoulder, "You okay, Jacks?"

Rayah

I sigh, my hand going right through his. I frown, hating how he can't even touch me, and cross my arms, "I'm...going to sleep."

Jackie

I tighten the grip around myself and swallow, "Yeah..."

J.S.

I frown with her and focus whatever powers I'd taken with me into my hand. I hesitate before twining our fingers, the rest of me flickering a bit. Damn. It comes and goes. I hate this so much. I look up at her and sigh. I'll lie with you. C'mon.

I nod and kiss the back of her neck, "Alyx is staying the night...doesn't want to be alone. He's down on the couch. Just thought I'd let you know."

Rayah

I nod, flashing a smile and walking upstairs with him.

I feel him kiss my neck and I close my eyes, swallowing, "Okay. S'Fine with me."

J.S.

I follow her upstairs and lay at her side, solemnly smiling.

I smile back at him and close my eyes, sighing.
