I had just left my room when Alma screeched and I heard a crash. Cursing I yanked the door open. The place was a mess, I guess I wasn't getting my security check back. Fortunately none of MY stuff was wrecked; I had packed it all, but the bed was in peices, books were flung everywhere, the blanket was on the ceiling fan, 2 of the 4 blades of which were crushed on the ground, and there were claw marks on the inside of the door.

"Alma, what was that?"

"A vengeful spirit. He doesn't like being called and questioned," she answered, lazily flicking her tail in annoyance, "If we move quickly, we won't have to clean it up either, so move it Zack."

I closed the door, locked it, and walked away whistling. "This vengeful spirit got a name?"

"He did once, but it was forgotten. Now he is called Dark Pharaoh. You're going the wrong way; your leader's room is that way."

I sighed and changed course. Alma never dropped anything.

Soul was halfway down the hall when a door opened up ahead. I slid to a stop breathlessly. The girl Fade stepped out and ran towards me blindly. We slid to a stop and introduced each other. Fade offered me some Gummy Worms and I shook my head.

"I like sugary foods, but thank you anyway," I said. She ate one anyway and I heard Soul howl with sadness and I excused myself. I sped off down the hall and to my room where Soul was lying down, covering his eyes with his palms. "Soul...?" I asked gently.

"My Salmon. Your cake! Our Room!" he cried. Confused, I looked into my room to see it was completely empty. That wasn't right. I reached my hand out and it seemed to ripple against water. I took a step and Soul howled. "Landon! Where did you go!" he howled. I blinked and the air around me faded revealing our trashed room.

"What happened here?" I asked.

"I don't know! I came down here and it was empty. And now it is trashed," he cried. I knelt beside him and gave him a hug comforting him.

"You know, cubs shouldn't cry. They grow up to be big, strong bears, and you don't want to be a weak one, do you?" I taunt.

"No, I'm not going to grow up weak. We need to get more Salmon! And Cake!" he said happily. He turned and I grabbed him by the collar before he could run off again.

"First we need to clean up and start packing," I tell him.

"Fine," he sighed. As we were picking up, I found a low-fat cake box under my pillow.

"No! Low-Fat Cake!" I screamed falling to my knees looking up at the roof. Soul stood up and clasped my mouth shut.

"Shut up," he told me. I nodded and threw the box outside my door and continued cleaning. Everything was changed. As if we entered an alternative dimension. I stopped and grabbed Soul and ran back out the door. I looked back and the room was perfect, but the low-fat cake box was still at my door.

We went back in and packed some more purple shirts for me, some salmon to take for Soul, and me some cakes to survive. I didn't mind being a sugar addict, cause it kept me awake. I always doze off, but sugar keeps me awake. I put about three to four boxes of twenty different kinds of cakes.

"Let's go," I said. Soul nodded.

I feel awkward walking beside the girls; and a bit unsafe. Andy kept glaring at me venemously, no doubt planning my death.

I wonder what she's plotting? She seems the type that would want to do it hands-on; so that would mean she'll either use her bat, or her sword, or maybe a combination of the two...Though I can't be too sure. She might be in a hurry to get rid of me; so she might do something a bit quicker...maybe she'll shove me off a cliff...

Andy sends me another venemous look.

Yep, she's ticked...Oh boy. I shouldn't have been such an ass about the mouse traps.

I slowly began to fall behind the girls, at first simply trying to distance myself; and then with the plan to lure Andy into spilling what she was planning. I couldn't watch her all the time; so knowing her plot would be helpful.

Sure enough, as soon as I should've been out of hearing range, Andy began to talk.

"So when we ditching this guy?" Andy asked.

Oh? Just ditching? That's not nearly as bad as I thought.

Kyana's response was in a whisper, so, even with my sharp hearing, I couldn't tell everything she said. All I could make out was, "Dunno, depends on how useful he is. Otherwise...find a train station...in front of a train as it passes."

I swallowed hard, imagining a hard freight train smearing my guts against a wall. So it's trains that I need to be wary of.

"What would you do if you had the chance to get with him?" Andy asked again in a giggly tone.

My face flushed red; but I couldn't help but listen for her response.

"Get with him? Not even, I get with you sooner than him." I said jokingly.

Both girls laughed; while my face burned with embarassment. I didn't handle rejection well; and the thought of her preferring another chick to me was insulting.

Fine, let them play this game if they want to; I'm up to it...I wouldn't want to sleep with her anyway.

"Hurry up Creole, you're falling behind!" Kyana called back to me.

I hurriedly catch up with the girls, and fall in stride with them; considering whether or not to let Kyana know I had heard her.

No, then she'll plan my death some other way...Trains are rather easy to avoid.

I examined the side of Kyana's head, as she decidedly ignored me.

I could do better than her anyways, I growled.

Creole's face was a nice shade of pink, which let me know he'd heard everything we'd said about him. I debated on whether or not to tell Kyana, but then decided against it. I didn't think she'd feel bad about rejecting him with him listening, it was just that I didn't want her to notice the slight look of disappointment on his face. Had he thought for a second that he had a chance with her?

Something inside of me burned and it took me a moment to realize that I was jealous. I wasn't sure what I was jealous of--maybe because I'd given Creole the perfect chance to imagine himself with my best friend. I felt my face burn as I glanced back over at him. Death by train was out of the picture.

I try to control my anger as the Dark Pharaoh had gone about wrecking havoc among the members rooms, the last thing I wanted was him causing mischief in the Council. I soon ripped another hole in reality and summoned him back here to the main room, his anger shows as he is really ticked about being re-summoned back here. He quickly levels out with me as he watches me carefully, knowing what I was about to do.

"Are you ready to kiss and tell who your host is yet?" I ask.

"Uhh no, its none of your damn business to who my host is. I'm on orders for no details about her, you may have tricked me once into some details but not again!" He declares.

"Oh? Is that so? Well when I do fine her, and you haven't said who she is, then I'm going to get my high priestess and have her trap you in a lamp where you belong!" I said in a threatening tone.

"Who her?" He chuckles slightly. "For me to become imprisoned once more would be a wild one, and you would tick off my host greatly. She won't-" The Dark Pharaoh disappears again.

I pinch the bridge of my noes as I'm greatly annoyed by this, its one thing to be a miscellaneous spirit. Another thing to be a rebellious one.

Kyana "Amon" Bell

After some chatter between me and Andy, I had decided Gray has been gone to long. I ordered him back with a mental command, waiting a few seconds I hear his voice in my head annoyingly enough it rings in my entire head.

"Hehe, you called boss?" He asks.

"Where have you been?" I ask in my head.

"The Golden Council had summoned me, sorry if I was gone longer than usual." He replies.

I walk a few steps longer some reason scared Andy and Creole were overhearing my conversation with Grey, it was stupid since it was all in my head. But when you have a conversation with a spirit in your head all of it sounds like he's right beside you.

"Got any useful intell for me? Something like on who the team they put together is?" I ask.

I could already tell what he was going to say somehow, and I stupidly said his answer aloud.

"No." I said aloud.

"Kyana you say something?" Andy asks.

"Grey." I reply.

There were days when it made me wonder if Andy ever suspected anything other than a multi personality disorder, Andy was smart. But not even Soren had managed to see though it, which was a good thing don't get me wrong. But there were days that made me think that she knew what I was hiding and never bothered to say anything about it, the long journey to civilization was finally met when we passed some people. We ignored them as we had to keep moving to intercept the team the Golden Council had sent out, and we were ways away from Egypt.

Dark Pharaoh

It was obvious that I was in a more deeper of a pit of quicksand, since the current Council leader somehow managed to outwit me into telling her some small details about my host. She may have gotten me once, but she won't be so lucky next time and Soren won't get the chance to know the truth until the moment was right. For now, I had to be extra careful. Already I was severely angry for being tricked, so I was in too much of a foul mood for mischief against the Dark Tribe. I told my host I was heading off for a while to calm and regenerated my fried nerves.
I wandered through the halls until I was drawn into Soren's room by the music of Nox Arcana. I went inside through the door and sat down on the couch, assuming my lively appearance and setting my elbows on my knees. The bat screeched once and that was it. I looked at the bat, glaring at it. "Yes, my vampiric friend. I know you see I'm in a foul mood, but at least it's safe to say that I'm not in the mood to do something your master doesn't want me to do. Because he and I talk like old friends, I came in here for a friendly rematch to calm my fried nerves. Even you know that a game of wits can...'lift my spirits' if you know what I mean." I chuckled a little, but that didn't help me a bit.

Aurora Fae

Arthur told me that the leader needed me for something, on her spirit companion's request. I began to return to my room and research on Dark Pharaoh. According to his note, only a High Priest or Priestess could imprison him. There was a first try that he was imprisoned. The first time he was imprisoned, he was trapped in a jar that used to be his mother's. That gave me an idea and a clue. The scroll made me realize that Dark Pharaoh likes things related to his childhood or parents. I went to the leader's room. "Milady, I know how we can imprison Dark Pharaoh. All we need is something that he likes. I could show up in the same room as you and pretend to be offering him a gift. The second he assumes a live appearance and touches the item, I'll recite the incantation and he's ours until we make him talk. It'll be hard for him break out of it like he did centuries ago. Just trust me. As a High Priestess by descent, I'm a spellcaster by trade." I smiled as I took the scroll that had the incantation. "All we need is something that he can't possibly say no to."

There was something Kyana wasn't telling me, I could feel it. There was something more happening and she wasn't letting me know about it. I wanted to say something about it, to ask her what she wasn't telling me--to demand an answer the way I would with anyone else. I couldn't though, because Kyana wasn't just anyone else, she was my best friend and I couldn't go around beating the crap out of best friends. What kind of friend did that make me?

"You know," I began, grabbing her arm and slowing her down a bit so that I could talk to her face rather than her back. "If there's something wrong you can tell me. If Grey is getting worse, you can talk to me." I knew she probably wouldn't tell me anyway, but I had to let her know. I wasn't taking this personal, my heart wasn't big enough to hurt because one of my one and only friends was keeping secrets. Things didn't work like that with me. I was born to cause chaos, to make war between people. It was what I was best at, not crying into my pillow because people were lying to me like so many of the other girls in the world. Kyana and I worked for the Dark Tribe, we were different--stronger.

We walked in silence for some time, and then Kyana and Andy began to talk to each other. I only half-listened to their conversation; still sore that I had been turned down so blantantly.

Of course, it IS your fault Creole. You were eavesdropping, My conscious warned.

Kyana lenghtened her strides, and put a few feet's distance between us. Andy, who no longer had a barrier between her and me, glared at me more venemously than before.

"No." Kyana stated.

I look at Kyana's back inquisitively, wondering who she's talking to.

"You say something?" Andy asked.

"Grey," Kyana replied.

Grey? What's-

I squirm as I feel Goliand slithering up my back, under my shirt. His head came out my neckline, beside my left ear.

"Henssson," he says.

I glance at Andy, scared she had heard him. I hadn't heard Kyana's serpent talking to her, and, well I knew Goliand had to be cooler, he was my spirit, after all; but I didn't want him to draw attention to himself. He was deadlier when he had the element of surprise on his side.

But Andy was looking at Kyana worriedly.

"Hmm," I grunt in acknowlegement.

"You're being ssstupid, Creole," Goliand says.

I feel like jerking Goliand out of my shirt and throwing him; though I know it won't do any good. He'd just come back; and I didn't savor the thought of an angry cobra in my shirt.

"You know," Andy said as she grabbed Kyana's arm, "If there's something wrong you can tell me. If Grey is getting worse, you can talk to me."

What is Grey? What are they talking-

"You're acting like a sssssmall child," Goliand continued.

It annoyed me to be repremanded by him. He was right, but I didn't want to hear about it.

"You sssshouldn't be thinking about sssuch thingssss anyway. There are more pressssing mattersss at hand."

"I know!" I growled.

"Then quit chasssing Kyana. Ignore her."

"I'm not chasing-"

I stop short, realizing that both girls were listening to me. My face flushed red again.

Stupid snake; I look stupid enough on my own. I don't need your help.

Alma stopped infront of the council door and I groaned. "She's not in there, is she?" To which Alma nodded. "I am NOT going back in there before I have to. Definately not."

"I'll shred your socks," Alma replied, grinning mischeiviously.

"You wouldn't dare."

"She loves boos, why don't you use that?" Alma shot back.

"... Fine," I said, digging through my backpack. Perfect, a history book on the history of sorcery and witchcraft throughout the world. She'd love that. I stood at the window and waved at her until I got her attention. Then I pointed at the book. "Lets hope she'll come out," I said to myself.

"You'd better hope so," replied Alma, grinning.

Soul stopped suddenly. I stopped a few steps ahead and looked back at him. "What is it?" I ask.

"It's nothing," he tells me walking by. I stood confused, but shook my head, dismissing it. We stood at the door to the kitchen and smiled. Time to raid the sugar. I opened the door to see the kitchen looking normally clean.

The only problem was it was empty. Fine by me, at least we could grab the food before anyone else. We ran towards the area with all the sugary sweets. I was reaching for some brownies when Soul knocked them out of my hand.

"No!" he told me. I looked down at him and instead reached for some pie. I grabbed some pie, more mini cakes, and snuck some packets of sugar. Soul grabbed some fish and brought them over, already packaged, which amazed me.

"Well, we are all packed. Let's go meet with the others," i said to him. He nodded and we went to find the others, not even caring how empty the kitchen was.

"I know this Aurora, I've studied it in previous texts of my previous reincarnations. But, I can not risk sealing the Dark Pharaoh yet. I need him out and about so I may pry more information, but this is enough. Go, carry out the task I have bestowed you and search for the Lost One" I order.

She walks out and I could tell she was rather eager to seal away the Dark Pharaoh, I wasn't tho I need to pry information so I could get to the Lost One, the sooner the better. I reload a chess game out of sheer habit, and look at the board for the first move but I soon reloaded again but this time I waved my hand into the air, and soon an image for Soren my dark counterpart appeared. He was standing at the window sill no doubt over looking outdoor actives, I wait a second as the image of me gets his attention.

"What do you want?" He asks in a calm but threatening tone.

"I thought I would propose a chess game, you know me and you are both unmatched chess masters, And I do believe none of my previous reincarnations have met you on a such a field of strategy and board games." I answer.

I could tell Soren was thinking about this, he was never the one to turn down a chess game before highly doubt he would now.

Kyana "Amon" Bell

"I could tell you whats wrong, but." I stop looking at Creole.

"Your going to have to trust me." I said.

Andy had gotten a rather suspicious look on her face, but soon after a few seconds she nodded as I take her by the handand stare into her eyes. Soon I could tell she was seeing radically different in me, my right eye became pure black, and my left became pure white. My white eye showed my darkest moments, the moments where I gave in, failed, let those I love down. But in my black eye it showed my greatest moments, my greatest successes, my moments of glory and command. I blinked once and then let go and broke eye contact closing my eyes once more, a look of astonishment across her face.

"Kyana, were you sure you wanted to go that?" Gray asks.

"Don't worry." I said.

"Andy, Creole come on were almost to the interception point." I yell to them as I turned to look at them.

Andy having the shock finally set in, there was worry that Andy would end up dropping our friendship and follow Sorens order's but she showed no signs of it. Not yet at least, but I had to keep an eye on here at this point, not knowing what would happen next.

"Gray, go the Intel I asked for." I ordered.

"Very well." I turned to the Dark Pharaoh besides me. "Excuse me, Pharaoh, but this is a match I cannot refuse. I would recommend you stay, for I have something to show you." The Pharaoh nodded silently, and floated back, somewhat intimidated by Destiny.

I waved my hand, and a virtual chessboard appeared before us. Destiny made the first move.

"I have missed playing with you," I said, chuckling. My hand hovered over a piece, then I moved it away. Cunning.

"You are quite the opponent," she agreed, diplomatically.

"Now, I would like to show you something," I said, and waved the other hand. Two floating screens appeared, trailing green-white smoke.

Both revealed equally horrifying images. Destiny and the Dark Pharaoh cried out in unison. The screen on the left showed Violet, insubstantial red flames raging around her, battling Kyana and a desperate-looking Andy. The ground was charred and smoking, all greenery was dead. Violet was laughing maniacally as she fought.

The screen on the right showed Aurora Fae running, explosions resounding in the background, several of the Golden Items in her hand. She looked straight at Destiny and leered.

"No!" exclaimed the Pharaoh. I smiled, smugly. Score one.

"How could you?!" Destiny cried.

Score two. I laughed.

"My dear, there are powers far, far greater than the Golden Council or the Dark Tribe at work here. I'm afraid you were manipulated."

I moved the last piece into position and leaned back.

"Checkmate. I'm afraid to say we win."

Sorry were moving a bit faster than usual, and sorry RF but Fae isn't getting away. Not without a scar or two for the betrayal.

Destiny Cross

I was stunned, no that wouldn't be the word. Angered, by the fact my high priestess had betrayed the council and now explosions were consuming the council building, I didn't have to say to for everyone to get out. Evacuations were being made and we all had to get out, but not with Fae, the warrior's where every they were. Were probably scattered in the chaos. I hoped the god everyone evacuaded from the buildings as the fire was consuming everything, I ignored whatever Soren said, ignoring the fact I had lost the game because I hadn't paid attention to my moves. I grabbed my sword and went to the golden item vault just catching Fae in the hall of it, my anger was silent. There were no screams of anger. No tears of sadness, no nothing of any sort of emotion from me, but my anger was there and it drove me to do what I had to, to beat Soren.

I slashed at Fae the tip of my sword just catching her hand and sending the golden items flying everywhere, I punch her straight to the jaw and she falls on her back. I didn't let up and stabbed my sword though her hand as she let out a scream of pain from it, I place one knee on her chest and grabbed her my her face as I stare menacingly into her eyes.

"Your going to die here Fae, if not the explosions then its me." I said.

Kyana "Amon" Bell

We had made it to the interception point and instantly I knew something was wrong, Grey had yet to return. Even for the Golden Council or Dark Tribe he was never gone this long, I didn't feel safe a powerful presence was near and I suddenly realize its similar to Soren's presence. But it was more frightening as his, I looked around to find where the presence was coming from as I soon set my eyes on who it was coming from. And I remembered her instantly Violet we stared at each other for a long time the world seemed to grow smaller and smaller until it was only us left, like two ticking time bombs just waiting to see which would blow up first until Andy's voice brought me back to reality.

"Kyana we got company." Andy said.

Creole was silent, maybe because it was out of fear for Violet. I remembered when I met Violet at the Dark Tribe during one of her vists, Andy and me had fought her and single handedly brought us both down. I was holding back at the time, but that didn't matter anymore that was ancient history.

"Well, well, well, Kyana. You were very clever, even tricked my uncle into believing that you had a multi personality disorder." She said.

Creole seemed confused by this, but not Andy since I had told her the truth. I curled my fingers and readied as I knew I would have to fight Violet once more, things would get hairy the second she attacked.

"Wait whats going on here?!" Creole said.

"Isn't it obvious by now? Kyana Bell is, The Lost One. And you two, are on order's from Soren to kill and wipe out the Lost One, and shatter the Golden Councils dreams of saving the world. Now attack, attack Kyana Bell." She ordered.

Creole didn't hesitate he drew the staff and held it with two hands, I look to Andy as she looked at me. I worried that I may loss her, she reaches for her Sword of Violence and I gulp. But soon, feel relieved as it wasn't towards me.

"I don't care if I'm orders to kill or not, I won't kill my best friend." She said.

I smiled as I felt relieved that she was taking my side on everything, my heart fluttered as I felt confident in winning what was this that I was feeling? I drew my Dagger of Wrath and short sword and got low to the ground as I threw away my stupid serphant as I knew I wouldn't be needing it anymore. I dash totally ignoring Creole and went straight after Violet, almost like I was flying. she puts her arms up to defend her face as my fist collides with her left arm, all hell broke loss as me and Violet fought with no hesitation. I had lost track of Andy as we fought, it was time to unleash the abilities the Dark Tribe wish they could use.

Me and Violet were both high in the air now as our speeds reached unbelievable heights, I catch Violet off guard as my fist hits her chin and sends her plummeting back down to the ground. Leaving a huge dent in the ground, flames roared around her as she sent missile like fire towards me as I fell, I disappeared into darkness and reappeared behind her as I moved in the shadows. I jumped out and tackled Violet only to get caught by her as she held me by my trout.

"Andy!!" I cried out.

Next thing I knew the Sword of Violence comes down and nicks Violets arm, and she drops me grabbing her arm backing off. I get to my feet again as Andy helps up, I look around for Creole as things took a turn for the worst as both sides of the streets set a blaze, she laughs maniacally as she had a blazing red fire around her.

"This could be bad." Andy said.

"Bad? I'm just getting started." I reply to her.

*OOC: Guys, seriously. You could've waited for me to post before this. I would've done it this morning, but I had church.*

Aurora Fae

I growled. "You should've given me the chance to imprison the Dark Pharaoh while he was still in the place. You know as well as I do that only a High Priest or Priestess can imprison him. The second he was here was our chance to keep him hostage until he gave us answers and you didn't even let me try. We all wanted answers from him, so you should've let me imprison him instead of letting him go. You had a shot at keeping him here for answers and you missed it." I summoned Arthur and ordered him to peck at Destiny. Once she was off me, I used my free hand to take the sword out of my hand. After I was free, I ordered Arthur to back off and ran out of the building, escaping with a small box in my pocket.

Dark Pharaoh

I couldn't believe what Soren did. My host was exposed to the Dark Tribe, just as I feared would happen. I had to return to my host before I have no body to inhabit. Without my host, I was vulnerable to wander the earth until a new host is born. I searched the crossfire for my host, but was pulled away into a box that I knew Aurora stole.
She closed the box in hopes of sealing me in, but she wasn't aware of what I could do.
I broke free from the box, shattering it to pieces. I crossed my arms and chuckled darkly. "True a High Priest or Priestess can imprison me, but that only applies if you were pure of heart. Your betrayal has diluted your heart's purity. You failed what an ancestor of yours once succeeded. You are such a disgrace to your family." I left the Fairy Priestess and reunited with my host. I had to help end this crossfire, but only if my host allowed me to take control.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.

The girls quickly resumed their conversation, allowing me to slink along behind them, largely unnoticed, trying to ignore Goliand.

"I could tell you whats wrong, but." Kyana sent me a suspicious look. "You're going to have to trust me." I said.

Andy looked at her suspiciously, but then nodded and allowed Kyana to take her hand. A moment later a look of astonishment crossed Andy's face. I shook my head. Dumb girls.

"Andy, Creole come on were almost to the interception point." Kyana shouted.

We walked on for another piece, and then stopped. The hair stood up on the back of my neck and arms, a shiver ran up my spine; something was seriously wrong. Somebody had beaten us to the interception point; somebody who's presence was harsh and imposing.

"Goliand?" I whispered, but he was gone.

This was some time for him to abandon me. He had never left my side before, but now...what was going on?

"Kyana we got company." Andy said.

I looked around silently, trying to get a feel for my surroundings. I felt a knot in my stomach from the presence, which was only intensified by the fact that Andy felt it too; and from Goliand's absence.

"Well, well, well, Kyana. You were very clever, even tricked my uncle into believing that you had a multi personality disorder." A girl said, as stepped forward out of the shadows.

I looked at all three girls bewilderedly. They knew something I didn't. Indignation welled up inside me; these girls were hiding something from me.

"What's going on here?" I growled.

"Isn't it obvious by now? Kyana Bell is The Lost One. And you two, are on order's from Soren to kill and wipe out the Lost One, and shatter the Golden Council's dreams of saving the world. Now attack, attack Kyana Bell." The girl said.

The girl spoke with such authority and confidence...was so much like Soren himself. I instantly drew my staff and looked at Kyana. I didn't like her anyway.

"I don't care if I'm orders to kill or not, I won't kill my best friend." Andy said, as she held her sword towards me.

Kyana drew her blades and crouched low to the ground, flinging her snake to the side. She dashed toward the girl, completely ignoring me. She clashed with the new girl, and they went into a vicious cat fight. I turn back towards Andy, and swing my staff at her.

She ducked under it, and quickly turned her blade towards me. Kyana and the other girl passed from my vision and my mind, as I focused on dodging Andy's blows and attempting to deliver my own. Andy did a slash combo, drawing blood on my neck, but not severely injuring me.

I leapt towards Andy. Suddenly the ground shook, knocking Andy off her feet, and sending me over her. I landed on my side heavily, but quickly rolled to my feet. I looked around, trying to spot Andy.

She still sat on the ground where she landed. I followed her gaze, and watched in amazement as missiles shot out of a fiery spot a few yards in front of us. The girl came out of the fire, her clothing smoking; Kyana sprang from the shadows behind her, jumping on her back.

The girl whirled around and caught Kyana, holding her up by the throat.

"Andy!!" Kyana cried.

Andy sprang to her feet and lunged towards the other girls; in one swift movement she brought the Sword of Violence down on the girl's arm. The girl dropped Kyana, and backed up, nursing her arm.

Great, that's just what we need...That girl's violent enough without that.

Andy pulled Kyana up.

Suddenly we're surrounded by fire; the new girl was laughing maniacally, surrounded by a ring of red flame.

"This could be bad." Andy said.

"Bad? I'm just getting started."Kyana said.

You'll be started soon, I snapped, as I brought my Staff of Envy down squarely between Kyana's shoulders.

She fell on her face. Andy glared at me and crouched to check on Kyana.

It's easier to come up with new stories than it is to finish the ones you already have. I think every author would feel that way.
