***TIME LAPSE: 1 Year...and a half***

Logan sits on the carpet, trying to fit his hand in his mouth, and Riley tries to reach my makeup on the counter. I scoop up Riley and set her next to her brother, crouching before them, "C'mon. Say mama."

They smile at me and I mouth it again, "Ma-ma."

Jackie

Halee yanking on my hair, I sigh and try to do bills, yawning as I do. Nic at work, I just bring Halee on my lap and let her play with my face, turning the t.v on to occupy her.

Jace

I knock on Nic's office door and loosen my tie a little. He looks up from his computer, nodding and grabbing his jacket.

"God, I would have killed myself if I had to stay here one second longer," he mutters, leading me out.

I shake my head and follow him down to the cars, nodding goodbye to him and separating. I head home and smile once I get there, excited to have the whole weekend off with my wife and kids. Opening the door, I take off my coat and sneak up behind Rayah.

"Boo," I whisper, kissing her ear.

Nic

Work sucks.

Just as I lose my last game of solitaire, Jace comes in and says we're good to go for the day. We head down to the cars and part ways, heading home. Once I get there, I run a hand through my hair and walk through the doors.

"I'm home," I call, hanging up my coat and finding my family in the living room.

I smile and come up behind Jackie, wrapping my arms around her and my little girl.

Rayah

I jump, sighing, and flash a smile, glancing back at Jace and kissing his cheek, "Hey."

I watch the kids closely, "Ma-Ma," I mouth it again and Riley mouths it but doesn't say anything. I nod, smiling, "Use you're words, sweetheart."

She shakes her head, burying her face in her hands while giggling, "I give up," I chuckle.

Jackie

Nic comes and wraps his arms around me and Halee. I smile, kidding him quickly, before getting back to the bills, "How was work?"

Halee jumps off my lap and crawls to the T.V, looking at it like she would a candy bar.

Jace

I kiss Rayah's cheek back and sigh, smiling and looking at the kids, "Daddy. Say daddy."

I smile and kiss her back, glancing at Halee as I speak, "Well...I discovered just how much I suck at solitaire. But...other than that, it was a pretty good day. How've you and Halee been? Anything interesting happen?"

Rayah

I shake my head at Jace, Logan opening his mouth to speak, "Da..." He giggles. I raise an eyebrow, "Say it!"

He shakes his head and I sigh, "Do it for-"

"Ma!" Riley practically screams.

I blink a couple times before flashing a smile, "Say it."

She giggles again, "Ffffff..." She slurs, grabbing my hand and trying to fit it in her mouth.

Jackie

I shake my head, finishing the bills and sliding them to the side, "No, not yet," I smile, watching Halee.

Andrew

I'm inches from the shadow, about to slash at it with my sword. It throws a punch at me, all of the air I've ever breathed is forced out of my body at once. I'm thrown into a teleport, there's a loud thud, I hit the floor of someones house, hard. My sword is still in my hand, I'm battered senseless, my clothes are all cut up. I can't really tell where I am, I managed to prop myself up on my elbow.

Where the hell am I?

"HOLY CRAP!" I hear someone say.

Jace

I smile and chuckle at them, shaking my head, "Almost, guys. That's good enough for today. You have dinner - "

Someone teleports in the middle of the room with a thud and I jump back.

"Holy crap!" I exclaim, "What the hell?!"

I smile and kiss her cheek, glancing at the bills, "Well, let's hope something does."

I kiss her cheek once more before heading off to Halee and crouching before her.

"Hey, baby girl," I smile, "Whatcha doing?"

Rayah

Riley and Logan start crying and I take them in my arms, setting them on the couch to calm down. I ran over to Andrew and crouch next to him, "Andrew? Are you okay?"

Jackie

I watch them, Halee putting both hands on the T.V before turning her head back to look at Nic with a smile.

Andrew

Rayah crouches down next to me,

"Andrew, are you okay?" She says.

"Ugh, not really..." I say, I bring my hand to my mouth to cough. My lungs feel dry, and I think a few ribs may be broken. There's blood when I look at my hand.

"Oh Gods, that doesn't look good." I say.

Jace

I take the twins in their room and head back out to the living room, crouching beside Rayah and helping Andrew sit up, "What happened?"

I smile and tickle her a little, "Say Daddy, Halee."

Andrew

Jace and Rayah help me sit up against the couch, I can barely contain my yells in pain.

"What happened?" Jace asks.

"Ugh," I cough, "I don't remember much, I was just walking around. And I got steered into an alleyway. There was this weird human shaped 3D shadow, I didn't have any other features, but glowing red freakin eyes."

"It knew my name, it knew I was a son of Apollo. I couldn't get any information from it though, it just kept whispering something over and over. I couldn't even hear most of it, but I think I heard the word revenge. It wasn't effected by celestial bronze," I yelp in pain and hold my side.

"It tore me too pieces, it scratched my leg too. It hurts like a b*tch, but I think I've got a few broken ribs." I finish.

Rayah

I see the blood and swallow, childhood memories coming back to me. I look up at Andrew, "Look at me," I order. He does and I nod, "Don't scream, okay? This'll only hurt a little. But I promise it'll work, alright?" I say, checking the wounds, "I'll try to heal you."

Jackie

I stand and walk over crouching beside him and looking at Halee. She turns around and smiles, giggling. I smile back, "Say daddy."

She starts, "Ddddddddd...."

I nod, "Daaa-dd-yy," I chuckle.

"Dadddddy?" She frowns. I freeze. Holy sh*t! She did it!

Jace

I scoot behind Rayah so she'll have something to lean against once she's done healing him, and I think of what's with Andrew.

"You're safe here, alright?" I tell him, "Nothing's happening in my house."

I smile and laugh, "You did it, Halee! You did it! My baby girl... Say Mommy next. Mommy."

Andrew

"I'm gonna try and heal you," she says.

Oh gods

She places her hands over my chest, light emanates into me for a second.

And then the pain,

It feels as though someone has taken a chainsaw to my chest, and is trying to cut through me. It takes all of my will power not to scream in pain. But it only takes a moment.

She turns to the gash on my leg, she does the same thing again. The pain is even greater this time, I manage a small scream.

"Wait, it didn't heal..." she says

Rayah

What. The. Hell.

Going pale already, I let go and bring a hand to my forehead, feeling lightheaded, "Um... Yeah..." I breathe, "Let me try again. I'll use all I can this time okay? All I can," I tell him, putting my hand to his chest again. Squeezing my eyes shut, my energy slowly drains from me to him. I can feel his ribs peice back together and weakly move my hand to his leg, stopping when I feel nothing left. My vision goes blurry and I fall backwards, blinking, "Whoa..."

I smile and nod, "Momma. Say momma," I beg. She smiles.

"M-M-Mmmm," She murmmers, a concentrated look on her face.

"Momma," I repeat.

"Mommmmm," She frowns, "Mommyyy?"

I smile and pick her up, squeezing her, "You did it!"

She laughs, repeating it over and over, "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!"
