As if on cue, Dad appears beside Tahlia. He checks her vitals before nodding at me.
"Gem made an appearance," he says, "Thought I'd check in."
I nod back at him, getting the message.
"And, yes, Jace, I would be the answer to your question," he sighs, "You can wipe the shock off your face now. You tamed Rayah and I - "
Thunder crackles from above and he smirks.
"Will not be finishing that sentence," he finishes, "See you all later. Behave, Tyler. Your mother and I have too much to worry about to think of what you and your sister are getting into."
With that, he disappears.
"I'm going to go die again," Logan's father says, "Never in my life would I have thought the silent follower would be Gemini's match."
He shakes his head and walks off, distant.
