Andrew Lare | District 10

The setting in the remake room was that of a party, people moved around frantically. Giggling and moving around wordlessly. Ellee and I were ushered through remake very quickly. We were dressed in obnoxious rancher clothes. I had to wear baggy overall's and work boots.

Although I wasn't happy with the situation, I couldn't stop laughing.

"Make sure to show off your bravado..." said one of My designers in her annoyingly high pitched capital accent.

"No Problem." I say smiling, flexing my muscles.

Ellee laughes,

"Leave it to Andrew Lare to be the only tribute genuinly smiling during the Hunger Games." She says.

When we boarded the chariot, we were greeted with a jolt of movement as the chariot came to a start. we rolled behind the District 9 chariot.

I could tell that underneath the smiling and the waving, they were just as miserable as everyone else. I'm pretty sure I was the only one genuinly amused, I waved and jumped up and down. I flexed my muscles many times, which resulted in the pelting of roses by swooning females.

oh the capital pigs that throw roses and blow kisses. Those ignorant, multicolored animals, haha they have no idea

As the chariots rolled out of view. I jumped off the chariot and just walked around. Looking on the tv for the remainder of the chariots.

I looked one last time at the tributes before leaving the Remake Center, the competition was tough. The other district tributes looked strong, but I don't doubt himself.

This should be fun

Rayah | District 12

HELL no. No, No, No...

They made me dress in a fire-ish dress, black, and they made coal and ash cover my face. I glare at the people who made me wear this, amazingly pissed off, before the charriot takes off. Just kill me now...

I shake my head and flash a fake smile at the audiance, the boys all cheering, and feel like punching every one of their faces off. Though, there was one boy from one of the other districts that I might actually like. Not sure of his name, I just turn back to the chariot ride, wanting to just get this over with.

Fox | District 4

God. This is going to suck.

They made me go shirtless..dressed with seaweed and everything. Ugh. I glance at Aria, she's shaking more than ever. We've been friends even back in the capital. There's no way I'm ever going to kill her. "Stay calm," I tell her, "It'll be alright."

I flash a halfhearted smile before turning to the crowd, smiling and waving, acting like a superstar walking on the red carpet. This'll be over soon, Fox. Man up and smile for the ladies.

I do what my mind tells me, winking at one every once in a while, and try to take deep breaths.

I glance at Aria as I did, annoyed at how paraniod she was acting, so I set a hand on her shoulder, "Relax, deep breaths."

Aria

“ Relax, deep breaths.” Fox says placing a hand on my shoulder. The crowed cheers loud when he does, I do not understand why though.

“I am relaxed.” I tell him.

“Aria I have known you for forever. I know when you are paranoid.” He says smiling and waving.

I sigh and wave too. I smile, blowing kisses to the audience. “Sorry. I am trying not to freak out, but apparently it is not working.” I say. “How are me going to win these people over?” I ask him.

Gina Appleby District 11

My eyes examine my figure in the mirror as one of my stylists places a straw hat atop my buffed and shiny curls. I stare at my checked shirt and denim dungarees, plastering a fake smile on my face; practising. They made me look older; smothering my face in their Capital make-up, turquoise blue rubbed around my eyes; ‘to bring out their colour’ they say, and a pale pink on my lips, ‘for plumpness’.

“I don’t look like me.” I mutter, as I am led to the chariot. Not even noticing as my brother Joseph puts an arm around me. I can’t even look at him, because I know he won’t even look like himself.

We’re just the Capital’s puppets. Made to look pretty and then bludgeon, destroy and murder each other. The fun. I bite onto my lip for a moment then force my lips to turn at the corners.

I look out to the crowds; their hungry eyes. Eating us alive, waiting to see us; each and every one of us turn on each other and murder in our feral, starving, desperate states.

“Joseph...” I whisper, finally looking up at him, “what’re we going to do?”

Joseph Appleby District 11

“We’re going to smile and wave Gina.” I smile reassuringly to my little sister. Tightening my grip round her shoulders whilst with the other hand I straighten my straw hat. I then handsomely grin towards the audience, and in a blur of a moment I stand and wave; cheering and laughing. A real celebrity.

“Put on a show Joseph” I tell myself, “we need the sponsors.”

I smile as Gina joins me, gripping onto my one hand and waving franticly with the other; her eyes shining with unshed tears. I would do anything to protect Gina, she had to be the one going home; she just had to, I wouldn’t be able to go on if she died.

“So the games begin...” I sigh to myself, as the celebration and frantic cheering take over.

I'm gonna have too much fun in this SB for it to die before it starts >:D

Andrew Lare | District 10

I walk around merrily looking at the ridiculous get-ups some of the other tributes had to wear. It was truly comical.

The last float to through was District 12, their costumes weren't all that bad. The female tribute seemed nice.

Better to make friends early I guess - I walk over to the chariot.

"Need help getting down beautiful?" I say to the girl, she shakes her head.

"No thank you, but thanks for offering." she says, and then jumps off the chariot.

"Ah, beautiful and strong, what a terrific mix." I say as she flashes a smile.

"My names Andrew, District 10." I say extending my hand.

"Rayah..." she says.

He LAUGHS. Like this is a joke. My instinct is to glare at him like he's crazy, but instead, I give an outrageously loud laugh in answer, trying to seem friendly. There's too much at stake to alienate people, even the obnoxious ones.
"Leave it to Andrew Lare to be the only tribute genuinly smiling during the Hunger Games," I say, trying too hard to cover the disgust in my voice to worry about being flirty.
The chariot starts off. It's obvious Andrew Lare is having a good time. I wonder if he realizes how alone we all are.
Not even the designers or mentors are on our side. Earlier, I heard them betting over which one of us will die FIRST. Or trying to atleast, but they all thought that Andrew would outlast me, so they had to think of something else to bet on. Andrew's stylist even joked that Andrew would probaby be the one to kill me.
If I can only last longer than Andrew, maybe people will see that I can get through this. Maybe I could see I could.
And before I even realize the chariots were moving, it's over. Andrew's moving off to talk with the girl from District 12 and I'm stuck standing on this stupid chariot by myself, unsure of what to do next.
I look to the chariot next to me. Brother and sister. How terribly sad. If one of my cousins was here, I'd be hardpressed to even look at them with a knife in my hand, much less... but then I can't see me... I don't know if I could do that to anybody.
The siblings will probably get a bunch of sponsors, if they last long at long. The Capitalists will be secretly wishing they're the last two wreck. Some people love watching trainwrecks. Maybe it'd be the merciful thing for someone to kill one of them. Then the other would have a chance.
I look the other way, down the long row of chariots filled with the walking dead until my eyes stops on District Four's chariot. Besides the siblings and Careers, they're the only ones that don't glance awkwardly away from their district partner every time their gazes meet. They actually seem friendly. Must've formed a pack already. Why didn't I do that with my district partner? The sponsors would love it. I've got to start thinking if I want to get through this thing.
