Mount Olympus

Rayah

I bite down on his ear gently before remembering what Alyx told me, You'll hurt him in the future...

I shrug off his voice and squeeze my eyes shut.

Jace

She squeezes her eyes shut and I pull back for a moment, thinking something might be up with her stomach, "You alright?"

Rayah

I open my eyes and nod, "Uh...Yeah," I assure him, "I'm fine."

Jace

I study her a moment before quickly kissing her again, "If you say so."

Rayah

I nod and take a deep breath. Leaning on the rock next to him, the waves getting bigger. I roll my eyes at it and get the memo.

Dad, calm down. I'm sixteen. I'm moving out next year. Gimme a break.

Jace

Rayah takes a deep breath and leans on the rock next to me. The waves become more intense and she rolls her eyes. Ah...Poseidon. Guess he's not too happy with what we were doing.

"What if we stayed out here tonight?" I ask, looking up at the stars, "I could have Alyx drop off a blanket or sleeping bag or something for us and we could lay on the shore."

Rayah

I nod, flashing a smile, and a wave crashes down on me. I wipe the water from my face and swear, pissed off at my dad right now. "Be right back," I say, looking for a conch shell somewhere that my dad uses to communicate.

Jace

I nod and flash a smile, turning to the shore, "I'll go call Alyx while you're gone. Have him bring the stuff."

Rayah

I nod and dive under, finding a shell as I do. I put it to my ear and my dad starts screaming at me. I speak softly, barely hearing him, and try to calm him down, leaning against a rock again.

Jace

Rayah starts talking to a shell and I shake my head, swimming back to shore and finding my phone. I call the house and tell Alyx what's going on. He hangs up after telling me he'll bring over a few towels and a blanket. Once done, I wade back in the water and swim back to Rayah.

Rayah

I just hang up, the waves getting even bigger, and pull myself out of the water and on top of a rock until my dad calmes down. Jace swims back in and I lay on the rock, remembering how I left my clothes on the beach, and don't care. I close my eyes for a second and let myself hear the huge waves crash onto the shore.

Jace

Rayah pulls herself onto a rock and I rest my head on my arms against it, watching her.

"What was that about?" I ask after a few minutes of silence.

Rayah

I open my one eye to look at him, flashing a smile, "He found out about my car. Saw what we were doing, and didn't like it how I forgot my bathing suit. But whatever," I chuckle, sitting up and dangling my legs off the side.

Jace

I nod, flashing a smile, and pull myself to sit next to her, my feet still in the water.

Rayah

I flash a smile and lay down, putting my head in his lap, "Alyx is bringing the stuff?"
