I shake my head at them before someone bumps into me and I'm sent a lot more forcefully into the ride behind me than I would have expected. Something cracks within me and the figure rushes off, leaving me to look down. Whatever cracked... the pain is in no comparison to the agony that the stake sticking out of me causes.
What the f**K? I wasn't even shoved that hard.
I swallow and feel my knees shake as I pull myself away from the bloody death stick. I fall to the ground and look back. The pole hadn't even been part of the ride. It fell as easily to the ground as I had, clanking to get everyone's attention.
"Uh...help?" I whisper, making eye contact with Rayah.
My hand is drenched in my own blood, my heartbeat slowing in my ears. The world seems to slow down as I stare at the red liquid.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I freeze, tears forming in my eyes. I rush to Jace and kneel beside him, taking his face in my hands. "Breathe," I order, "Take deep breaths," I tell him, looking at his chest. The blood....
I looked away and rip a peice of my shirt, pressing it to the wound. "You're gonna be okay," I whisper, tears falling.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
My mind swirls and I can't think of anything to say. Her voice fades in and out, pressure being placed on the wound. I think to tell her I'm bleeding from behind too, but can't bring my lips to form the words. She cries and I feel my heart break inside, a shaky clean hand brought from my side to wipe her eyes.
"Don't...Don't do that," I whisper, wincing.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I nod, seeing how he was still bleeding. I check behind him and see the blade went all the way though. "Oh my god..." I put my hand over my mouth and close my eyes, not knowing what to do.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I sigh, nodding and hesitate before standing. "I-I'll be right back," I tell him before running off to find Andrew. I grab him out of the ride's line and drag him to Jace in a hurry. Andrew looks at Jace, wide-eyed. "What the hell happened?!"
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I scream and start crying again, crouching beside Jace and looking up at Andrew. "What do we do?" I ask, almost about to faint from the amout of blood.
Andrew kneels beside me and adds perssure to both of the wounds on both sides, not speaking.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I bite my lip to keep from crying out, not wanting to frighten Rayah any more than she already was. A whimper escapes my lips and I swallow again, prying an eye open to glance up at my wife.
"Ray...Don't leave me," I find myself saying, suddenly exhausted.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
