She freezes just as her 'mother' calls her and I grip her hand anyways, not letting her go. "I'm here," I whisper. "I won't let anyone take you from me."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I flash a smile at Niall, my heart fluttering at his words, and I nod. Gathering enough courage, I turn to my mother and find her with my father and little brother James. James is the only one that looks happy to see me, waving and smiling his toddler-like grin.
"What are you doing here?" my father demands, "You weren't ever supposed to come near our town again."
"It's not like I'm on your doorstep," I find myself snapping back, "I'm at a theme park."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Why are they even talking to me? This makes it so much worse...Why couldn't they have just ignored me like everyone else from back home?
Niall holds me close and I try to remain calm as my father says something about calling security to my mother.
"The last time I checked, it was a free country," I tell them, "I wasn't bothering you before. Just forget I exist again and we'll all live happily ever after like you wanted."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I sigh and look at her parents, stepping in. "She did nothing," I state calmly. "She's stayed out of your lives. If you just leave her alone, you'll go back to you're lives and she won't be a bother," I remind.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
