The sun sets and Jason shakes his head, tired of trying to get through to me.

"I have to catch up with my wife," he says before turning and leaving.

His shoulders slump and his head hangs down. Maybe he is telling the truth... I glance at Taylor, who seems relieved he's gone.

"What would you do, if you were me?" I whisper.

“What would you do if you were me?” He asks me.
I am shocked at the question and really do not know what to say. “Well, if it were me I would.” I search for an answer. I know that I would have a really hard to forgive him, but I would need him. “I would try to forgive him. That would be the hardest thing in the world, but I think you need your brother. You do not have anyone else.” I say gripping his hand in mine.

'You do not have anyone else'...

I look away, unsure as how to respond. She grips my hand and I return it, making sure she knew that her answer wouldn't change things about us.

"Yeah, I know," I finally whisper, looking where Jason went.

I look back at her and wonder...

"Well...I have you," I flash a smile, "Right?"

“I have you… Right?” He asks.
I smile and lay on his shoulder. “You do have me.” I say. I pull out my phone and look at the time. It is ten o’clock. “It is getting late.” I say. “It has been a long day and we both need some rest.” I stand up and so does he. I put my arms on his shoulders and kiss him. “Are you going to be okay?” I ask him.

I smile and kiss her, my arms wrapped around her waist loosely.

"Yeah," I say, "Jason'll give me space. He doesn't come back to the house anymore. He'll leave me be until I go to him."

“Okay.” I say. “I feel weird leaving you here after all this happened.” I say.
“I will be fine, I promise.” He says.
“Okay, well I will see you in the morning. Will you walk me back to the hotel?” I ask him.

I flash a smile and nod, taking her hand, "I will."

He grips my hand and we walk to the hotel. I enjoy walking with him and being with him. We reach the hotel and he puts his arms around me and hugs me. I hug him back. He kisses me and I kiss him back. “I will see you tomorrow.” He says.
“Okay I will see you then.” I say. As I walk, our hands slowly fall apart. I wave goodbye and head up to my room. I cannot wait tomorrow to see Alex. I walk to the elevator and push the button to the top floor. It takes a while to get there, but I set off the elevator and walk to my room. I walk over to the window and look out to see the fountain where I was sitting a few minutes ago. I look down and see Alex walking away. Seeing him makes me smile. I walk away from the window and change into my pajamas. I quickly jump into bed and hope that morning comes sooner.

I kiss her goodnight and watch her enter the hotel before heading off. Walking back home, I try and reason with what Jason told me. Maybe he has a point...but killing someone isn't right. Mom wouldn't have wanted that...would she?

Jason finally catches up, I been sitting on this damn park bench for ours trying to wait for him. I watched as he comes running the sun down and Jason looking like he had a truck run him down and back, maybe I shouldn't have said anything and kept my mouth quiet for once. He takes a seat by my side as I sat there for a long silence.

"How it go with your brother." I said.

I sit at Gemini's side, uncomfortable with our silence. I don't want to think anymore.

"He's angry," I tell her, "As expected. He wouldn't listen to my explanations. I...How do I justify what I did to someone who can't possibly understand our world?"

I look at her, hoping she knew somehow.

I looked down trying to think of something, anything, to answer with. But it all felt unusual. I never done stuff like this and certainly was a stranger to it all. But somehow, deep down I understood what Jason was feeling.

"You don't, all it ever mattered was us defeating our parents and becoming gods. You can't force someone who doesn't know the backstory to understand." I said.

I swallow and look down as well, "I need him to understand. I want him to be there for us when we do start a family. I don't want him mad at me for the rest of his life because of what I believe is right. He needs to know it wasn't just for me."

I smiled having an idea on how to resolve all this, I lean back as I tap Jason on the shoulder. He looks my way and I catch him in a kiss, we allowed it to go on for a few seconds but soon broke it wanting to speck my idea to Jason.

"How about, I get you and him a room alone together to talk. I'll keep his girlfriend, if not his wife away for awhile and you two can talk to one another." I said.

Gem taps my shoulder and I glance over to her, caught in a kiss instead of any conversation. It goes on for a few moments before she breaks away and speaks her idea. I think about it, unsure.

"He needs space right now. Time to process what I've told him," I tell her, "Maybe later."
