The Guardian Initiative (Full / Started)

Plot:
For years, Sones City existed in a realm of normality. It was just like Los Angeles, Paris, Rome... Up until recently, there was no need for a her, much less a gang of them. Crime levels were average and those with the ability to keep innocents out of harm's way stuck to the shadows, making use of their talents on their own time at small scales. That is, until the Black Flame rose.

Characters:
The mayor of Sones City activated the Guardian Initiative, which rounded up seven of the strongest supers and teamed them up against the Black Flame. You are one of these supers. Each power needs to be unique to its person and an individual can have no more than three powers to itself. Just keep in mind that the more powers you pile on, the lower your stamina and energy levels. If too low, you're useless in a fight against your amnesiac grandmother, much less a super villain.

Name: Ari Collins, Quantum.

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Appearance: In real life, Ari has shaggy brunette hair that hangs just above his bright emerald eyes. He has a slim but muscular build and stands at just below six feet. He usually wears a plain t-shirt underneath a black or grey jacket, along with jeans and converse. In costume, he wears black spandex-like material with green stripes down his sides where his arms fall against his torso.

Personality: Ari is thoughtful and often keeps to himself. He's wise and tactful, as well as physically and emotionally strong. He has a sense of humor, but often keeps his jokes to himself or his close friends. He is slightly schizophrenic because of his powers, and often doesn't get much sleep, but is able to keep his problems hidden within. There's never a time he doesn't think things through, but there are times where his personal feelings cause him to over-analyze situations or stress himself out to the point of exhaustion.

History: He and his sister Darcy led normal lives until Ari reached the age of 15. Then the two were in an accident at their father's laboratory and gained unbelievable powers. Their parents supplied them with everything they needed to hone their power and to keep their abilities hidden. Ever since, they've still been stifling through life as if nothing had changed.

Power: Precognition (ability to see the future), the ability to mimic others' powers for a few minutes at a time, and speed.

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: short dark brown hair, height-5'7, most like seen in faded tank top, with booty shorts, and short black lased boots. super suit- black stretchy suit with knee high boots

Personality: Adventurous, at times can be bossy, likes to be sarcastic, moody, humorous, loving, strong, low confidence most of the time, friendly, etc..


History: Darcy had a normal life. Then she

Personality: He's a power man and doesn't show fear in the face of death, he's highly trained with his sword and his powers and knows how to use them. But this does not make him a brute, hes fights tactically and knows when he can't win a fight, knowing how to turn the enemy forces against his enemies to get a job done for him. Long range combat is useless against him and can easily dodge anything long range while returning the attack, the only way you'll win is in close range combat.

History: The Black Flame believes he was born with this power, and that when man became unworthy of living his power was unleashed, at first he was using his powers for small things, but he became more and more hateful until he finally decided the world didn't deserve to live, Now he wonders from town to town city to city slowly burning it all to the ground.

Powers:
Black Fire: No side effect to this whats so ever being that this is his main power that he has named himself after.

Super Speed: The more he uses his super speed the more energy he burns, causing him to tire faster as he uses it for his attacks and evading long ranged attacks with either this or blocking it all with his sword.

Devils Blessing: A healing ability that he can use any kind of fire to heal himself, making for healing wounds a lot faster, drawback being that he can't be in combat and the place he heals is numbed for a certain period of time. The longer fire has been on it the longer the numbness.

Others: A sword known as Yammato he uses it as his main weapon of choice, and is able to combine it with his power over black fire to create long range sword swipes.

Name: Maxine Fisher ~Aqua Fairy
Gender: Female
Age:16

Powers: Flying , breathing underwater and Water Vapor (it’s a lot like Frozone from the Incredible, can draw water from the air and channel it to different places.)

Appearance: Maxine Fisher is short for her age at 5 feet 1 inch. She likes to think herself as fun sized and uses her height to her advantage during fights or buying a child-priced ticket at a movie theater. She has short wavy brown hair and eyes to match and a freckle near her right eye. She usually wears cut-off jeans and a tank top during the summer and a ski coat with black jeans during the winter. Here superhero outfit is light and easy to fly in and easy to absorb water in.
Personality: (include strengths, weaknesses, etc...) Aqua’s weakness are fire and earth since she flies and uses water. Maxine’s main weakness that leaks into Aqua’s personality is extremely low level of self confidence; she tries not to show it though. Her main strength is the ability to make plans on short notice and not to panic during a stressful party.

History: Maxine was walking down the shore near her house one day when she heard a voice calling her name. To her great surprise in the water was a woman all in blue. She waded out to her and when Maxine reached the strange lady the lady sprinkled her with dust and held her underwater until she almost drowned. When she came up she found out she could breathe underwater and control it. She started helping people put out fires around town and rescuing them from high towers. Maxine then took the name Aqua Fairy after the lady who gave her the powers she uses for good.

Others: Has a White Shield given to her by the wife of deceased superhero called the White Fang. She’s still unsure of its powers and keeps it around for safekeeping.

History: she did not know how she came across them because she can’t remember much after she was in a car accident involving her whole family, she was the only survivor

Appearance:

Secret Identity- Presley has long dirty blonde hair with tan skin. She has light brown eyes with a slight tint of black to them.

In Costume- (Couldn't find a picture) Wears a black tight leather top with long sleeves. Pure black long skinny-jean like pants with slightly high-heeled boots. Wears a mask that oly covers the start of her nose and her eyes.

Personality: Presley is very calm-hearted and witty. She doesn't like trouble at all but has a very vile temper that wont get her anywhere. She doesn't like to be wrong but is yet in control of herself when she is. She doesn't like water at all or any kind of wet thing. When she touches something that is hot or electric she gains power easily. She likes to read and is somwhat a geek when it comes to intelligence. She's very sweet and nice, very good at giving advice if needed.

History: When Presley was ten, her parents left her alone every day with her brother in the morning and at night to go to work. Presley would always make herself dinner while her older brother was in his room playing video games or talking on the phone. One day, my accident, Presley spilled cold water on a electricity line and it shocked her for as long as she could remember, shooting her backwards into the wall. The next morning, Presley woke up feeling hyper and jolty and then found her powers while at school.

Power: She can control all things electricity, create an electric barrier with plasma etc, etc.

Other: She's better at hand-to-hand combat than anything else but usually keeps a small dagger in her boot and a gun at her hip for emergencies. Up for love.

History: Link was a test-tube baby, and was merged with bird DNA. (Yes, I know, same story as Maximum Ride.) He escaped 15 years later, and had his powers since.

Power: Able to fly, Go Invisible, Good hearing/Sight.

Black Flame - Not far off from Sones City

I am, The Black Flame, I am the destruction of man. Everywhere I go, death is soon to follow, every step I take, death follows in that step. Everywhere I go, people burn in a gruesome death. I have taken the lives of many, I have fought many wars against man itself, I've slaughtered thousands of millions of innocent lives. But not one person could hold a sword to me or the skill I wield with my sword Yamato. I've burned entire cities to the ground destroyed simple watering towns, and killed without mercy. I am The Black Flame, the destruction of man.

I soon slowly approach the city of Sones, the last I heard The Guardian Initiative has been activated recently, who knows for how long it was a few days ago the last I heard in the distance I could see Sones City. I still had a long way to go before I could burn the place to the ground, a human sized bird flies over head but can't make it out if its a bird or really someone with wings, I continue my approach to Sones City remembering how I had defeated many others who believe guns are there resolution to defeating me. I was far to talented to be defeated so easily, and no I'll burn this next city to the ground and soon, the whole world.

I am The Black Flame, and I am the destruction of the world.

Ari Collins/Quantum - HQ in Sones City

I stand in the background, watching the Guardian Heroes arrive. Darcy greets them alongside my father. Slowly, they all crowd in the top floor of the headquarters. A few of them, I would never have imagined weren't normal teenagers. Some are in suits like me and Darcy, while others are as their regular selves. One has wings, something I make a mental note to ease my curiosity about that some time.

My father clears his throat once all eight of us arrive and waits for all eyes to set on him. A bad feeling bubbles up in my stomach and images flash through my mind, warning me of a soon to be conflict. We aren't safe here like we thought.

"Thank you all for coming," my father says, "The mayor has handed over the responsibility of assisting you in whatever way possible to me. I'm at your disposal."

He pauses, looking at me and Darcy.

"Why don't we start with introductions?" he suggests.

I sigh, taking the resolve coming from the mask and using it to bury my awkwardness.

"Quantum," I say, "Precog, mockery, speed..."

I look to Darcy once I'm done, wanting to just slip right into the shadows.

My brother and my Father are standing next to me. My brother is looking at me waiting to introduce myself to all of them. " I'm Blue Fang, Disguise Changing, able to read minds, and to fly. Also i don't like being in groups. I wait for the person next to me to introduce themselves can't help but stare at them.

Presley West/ Volt - HQ in Sones City

Everyone starts introducing themselves and I try to stay un-noticed until the girl next to me starts staring at me. I clear my throat before speaking.

"I- I uhm.." I hate being thhe center of attention. For just one moment it's even horrible. "Volt," I finally say, feeling confident. "Electricity. Lightning. Plasma," I say, looking at the floor. I look at the person next to me in wait of their introduction.
