"You're hat is so important to you that you would kill a man, Stranger," I say, using the name I had decided to dub him, "It makes me wonder if maybe, just maybe, you have a special someone," she muses*
"Often the lady gives the man a boon. A special something to remember them by. Is it fair to say that this is the case? I would smell, but the combined scents of me, you, and human all cover it up far to............. well." I reply*

"Be that as it may, hunter, I hope you catch you're prey. And you'll find that the way I called is clear and safe." She says to the air, backing into a shadow*

My dragon senses picked up on strange activity in the skies, but I ignored it. I was off duty, for now. I was hiding, fearing the worst. I tilted my head back against the wall, taking a deep, heavy breath, inhaling the scents of the room. Then I detected a pair of eyes on me.
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills, It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter.
