"Ohhh wait a minute, that isn't a scar. It's a frown line. Maybe I'll call you cloudy," I grinned at the man. Such a silly human, doesn't he know all I want is his milk?

"..... Leave me alone." He turned away from the cat, stashing the tape away again, and walking to a different corner of the cafe where no one was.

"I SAID don't call me that!" I pulled out the tape again, and there was a ripping sound as I pulled some of it off the roll. "You've been warned, cat."

*Sits there patiantly* "3 2 1. 1 2 3. But is this me, what you really see?" He winks, and puts some of his humanity into his eyes*

"Perrrrhaps your cage was smaller than mine? But then, what cage is so tight, to lock out the smell that creeps up in fright?"

"One." I reached into my trenchcoat, and my whip whipped out, around the cat. Play time was over.

I grinned and shot through his legs, hearing the whip crack* "Your whip is fast, but your legs are iron. Perhaps it made your heart stone?"

I snapped it behind me, just as fast as the cat had gone, trying again to catch it. I remained silent.

NOT. MY. HAT.
It touched my hat.
It did NOT just touch my hat.
Oh yes it did.
I darted after it, slipping a knife from my sleeve into my hand, and then I changed my mind and shifted into the shadows, disappearing.

I hid in the back stall, and prayed that the stranger wouldn't find me. Even though it was his hat I had to take... Oh well. He doesn't seem to have the word 'kindness' in his dictionary, but I can smell it on him. He is not human, and his life is dangerous. He'll be waiting out side of the resteroom. From the way his hand moved with that whip, he has a knife. And then I felt something give, and I was human again. Or, humanoid. Curse this tail and theese ears. I hope this hat fits well, I'll be fighting my way out, and I don't need it to slip. I put the hat on, and washed my hands. Bracing myself, I left the bathroom*
