I sit up and shift, shaking out my fur before nudging Jaem to wake up.

I wake in the mourning and feel Bras arms around me protectively as we were humans, I don't move and just lay there cuddled up in his arms, I pressed myself up against him and decided on going back to sleep.

Garland Lazarus

I roll off the couch I was on and slam my head against the ground, great more head trauma. I struggle against the restrains on me and figure out I wasn't going anywhere until I was untied again. I move around and sit up with some work seeing another guy in the doorway again, wonderful I knew it wasn't my sisters enemy, but who was he?

Crave

I nod slowly, the lenses in my mask allowing Shadow to do a whole search of her from back home. Nothing. Sparkling clean.

"Oh, okay then," I say, "Well, as I was saying... Have you seen a disk, about the size of that guy's head, with a gold ring around the middle that kind of lights up when you - "

Oh. My. God. Why did I send you? Of all people! Shadow explodes.

Whoa, telepath, keep it down when you're in my head. It hurts. And to answer your question, I'm your amazing twin brother, so you love me.

He groans and I try to remember what I was saying...

"Oh, yes! It lights up when held a certain way," i finish as the guy rolls off the couch and hits his head.

I smile and shift too, stretching and trotting off to find food.

I shake my head in a no before Rayah gets bored and takes over, walking to the bar and getting a whiskey and taking a sip since Jace and Jamie were out.

"Nope," She responds more clearly, loving the drink.

Crave

I tilt my head to the side, wondering what a teenager is doing drinking. Shaking my head, I make eye contact with the tied up guy and have Shadow do a search.

He's a mutant... he comes up with.

A mutant! Awesome!

No, no, no, Ari! Do not -

I cross into the room and stand before him.

"You interest me," I say, " Do you know where the disk is? I think we're similar. Have you seen the disk before?"

Ari, he's not that kind of mutant...He shouldn't know where the disk is, Shadow tells me.

Just shut up, Cal. I'm working.

Brooklyn

I just realize I'm the only girl in the house besides Riley and swallow at the thought of Jamie thinking I'm cheating on him. Rayah stays silent for once, letting me take over.

"What are you doing just comin' in my house uninvited like this anyway?" I ask in an annoyed voice.

Crave

Before he can answer, the girl asks me a question. I spin around and process what she says, having Shadow repeat it to me.

"Oh, sorry, but the door was open," I nod towards it, shrugging.

Brooklyn

I slowly nod before sighing. "Fine. Whatever."

Dude! That guy just walked into our house! UNINVITED!

I sigh and facepalm myself, wanting Rayah to shut up so badly right now.

When San goes out for food I lick Jaem's fur to clean him. Once done I let him cuddle against me and grunt, glancing down at my stomach in hope.

Crave

I turn back to the boy before just leaving him and looking around the house. Shadow tells me to leave so I do. I head off to the house next door and glance around for the disk. Finding nothing, I sigh and sit down.

Are you really that helpless? Can you seriously not find it? he asks in my head.

Shut up. You come and try and find it.

I will.

He's silent for a little and I swallow.

I was kidding. I don't want you to -

Something taps me on the shoulder and I jump up, screaming. Purple light explodes from me and forces the being backwards. After hearing a thud, I walk over to the tree I'd sent the person into.

"Ari, I'm going to kill you," he groans.

I'm shoved back and smile.

"Now you know not to sneak up on me," I stick my tongue out at him.

He catches it and yanks on it, forcing me to fall forward after releasing it.

"You're annoying enough in thought," he says, "Don't speak."

I catch a few more rabbits and come back, dropping them before my family.

Right as he leaves I remember something.

Rayah, what if Jamie isn't here when I deliver?

Rayah sighs and her spirit comes out of me and crouches infront of me. I wanted to reach out and play with her hair for some reason. A weird reason. But I didn't.

"He'll be here. I can tell you that. Anyway's I'm here to keep you company!" She smiles big. "I can come in and out of you whenever you want."

I sigh and stand. "Can we go on a walk then?" I ask, bored. She nods and makes herself look like a regular person, not see through anymore. I touch her arm and my hand goes right through it.

"What if people see you?" I ask, walking out.

She shrugs, twirling a piece of hair with her fingers while walking out with me.

Crave

Shadow shakes his head and takes off in one direction, nearly invisible as he goes. I barely catch sight of him and catch up, muttering profanities to myself. He shakes his head at me and elbows me. I elbow him back and end up knocking him over. Continuing to walk, I smugly smile.

Then I see the ghost.

"Oh my god! Cal!" I shout and run back to him.

"Shut up!" he hushes, shoving me.

"B-but there'a ghost, Cal. There's a ghost. And, whoa chi mama, is she - "

"Please. It's bad enough I have to live through your mental images. Shut up."

Brooklyn

Rayah starts telling me about when she was pregnant and I chuckle, seeing to guys. Or a shadow. Or whatever. It was confusing. Rayah glances at them too before she keeps playing with her hair again.

I flash a smile at her before trying to touch her arm again. It just goes right through. I sigh and look up at her. "Is it fun being a ghost?"

She shrugs, thinking. "I can do this," She says, elivating slowly about a feet high and then lowering again. "But I don't do that." She chuckles, looking at her shoes as she walks.

Crave

Shadow sighs and stands, dusting himself off. He makes himself seen to people and walks towards the two, realizing too late that it was the same girl from the house that i'd barged in. He apologizes for getting in their way and walks past, leaving me to run after him like a spaz. He walks in the house and I stop myself from questioning him. The basement door is opened and I gasp, finding a bunch of bodies.

"Are they dead?" I ask, sticking my head in the doorway.

"Please, just shut up," he huffs, walking down past the bodies and over to the small sofa against the wall, "Help me move this."

I hesitate before following him down, cringing as I pass the bodies. We move the couch and he smiles, picking up the disk.

"Found it," he holds it up, the silver light sparking off of it, "Now, let's get back to base. I think we've - "

A gust of wind and the disk disappears again, a cocky-eyed blonde kid jumping up and down in the corner.

"Yes! The Disk of Doorways!" he squeals, taking off again.

Well...that sucks.

"C'mon," Shadow bolts off.

I follow him but stop running once I realize I'm still in my spandex suit.

This has got to be a frightening sight...

I charge up the energy from the purple light and bolt off that way, covered by the illusion.

Weird things happen and Rayah watches while slightly giggling.

"Think he's cute?" I ask, flashing a smile.

She shrugs, biting her lip while looking back forward. "I'd give 'em an 7/10," She chuckles.

"Yay! We're raiding boys now?" I ask. She looks over at me, chuckling while shaking her head.

"...No. I was just giving My opinion. You asked," She smiles.

I just shake my head at her, looking at her and not believing I hadn't realized what she looked Like earlier.

Crave

All is great...

Then I trip.

I fall and roll over and over and over until my face plants on pavement. Groaning, I sit up and notice Shadow take hold of the disk again. The boy drops to his knees and begs for it.

You dead yet? Shadow asks in my mind.

You wish. Can I hold it?

He huffs and walks over, hesitating before handing it over. My face stings and I taste blood, but I jam the disk up in the air anyway. Light ten times as bright as my own shoots out and burns the house beside us to the ground.

Oops.

Shadow snatches the disk back and slaps me upside the head.

"Nice one, Ari. And we're supposed to be the best," he shakes his head.
