Zoey

I stand, walking towards the trees. "Your not my protector."

Indigo

I stand and follow her, catching up quickly.

You don't dictate who I am. You needed my help in that alley, even if the roles reversed.

Zoey

I nod. "Yeah but You didn't need to. Your not my protector," I said, leaning against a tree.

Indigo

I grit my teeth and growl.

Too bad.

Zoey

"Why do you need to protect me? You just met me!" I chuckled, crossing my arms.

Indigo

I contain myself, allowing her yelling to fly just once.

I told you! I like you!

Zoey

I shrug, "Again, You. Just. Met. Me." I say, looking away.

Indigo

I growl and turn away to prevent from lashing out.

Who cares?!

Zoey

"You can't just like a girl in three hours." I say calmly, not wanting to get him mad.

Indigo

I bite my tongue, wanting to keep from getting any more upset.

You don't know that. You don't know me. Like is different than love.

Zoey

I swallow.

Then what is 'like' from your perspective?

Indigo

I glance back at her, calmed slightly.

A beginning. A possibility. Attraction. Love is intimate, which we are not.

Zoey

I nod,

Attracted?

I step next to him, slightly confused. It starts to slightly rain and I pull my hood over.

Indigo

I growl, burning slightly red.

Attracted.

The rain doesn't affect me, but she pulls her hood up. Growling again, I pull it down, my hand freezing at the side of her face.

Zoey

He stops his hand at the side of his face and I glance up at him, not sure what's happening.
