Eagle Crest Hallows [2]

Rayah

Indigo curls up on a pillow and I pet him until Jace comes to lay beside me. I smile and cuddle up into him, pressing my face to his chest, closing my eyes. "Night." As soon as I said that I dozed off, not feeling anything.

Indigo

Mistress pets me and before Master lays beside her. He holds her close and she closes her eyes, bidding him goodnight. Within seconds she's asleep. I yawn and look at Master, who is also sleeping. Closing my eyes, I slip into immediate slumber as well.

Rayah

I stir in my sleep, rolling out of Jace's arms and onto the pillow beside me. I moan, having a dream, and squeeze my eyes shut.

Indigo

Something moves and I crack an eye open, seeing Mistress. I sigh and close my eyes again, knowing I can't do much about a dream.

Rayah

I open my eyes in the middle of the night and yawn, standing I decide to wash my face with warm water to get me to sleep better and sigh, resting my arms on the sink.

Indigo

Mistress leaves and I sit up, watching her. As she washes her face, I slip off the bed and trot over to her, stretching.

Rayah

I look down and see Indigo, "Hey buddy. Whucha doin up?" I ask in a whisper.

Indigo

I look at the closet and trot in there to shift and change before walking out to answer her. Master's clothes are slightly big on me, him being older.

Mistress troubled.

Rayah

Indigo comes out human and I flash a smile. "I'm fine."

Indigo

I yawn and shrug, sitting against the door frame on the floor.

Rayah

I watch him, smiling and look over at Jace who's sleeping with a pillow to replace me. I chuckled and walked over. I kissed his cheek before walking downstairs to get a mid-night snack.

Indigo

Confused, i shift back and follow her in puppy-form. I smell food and feel my stomach rumble, excitedly hurrying towards the source and pawing the fridge.

Rayah

I smile and open the fridge, throwing him a snack and getting myself an apple as I sit on the couch.

Indigo

I catch the snack and wolf it down, grunting in satisfaction as I do.

Rayah

After I ate my apple I walked back upstairs and threw myself back into bed, running a hand through my hair.
