Selena

The baby reaches up and I let him hold my pinky.

"What's his name?" I ask Vanessa in a whisper.

"Danny," She whispers back. I smile and nod, looking back down at the baby in my arms.

"Hey, Danny," I smile. Danny giggles and closes his eyes. I look back up at Vanessa, "This is one cute baby."

Mark

I watch and can't help but get even more excited about the day that Selena will first hold our baby, when I'll hold it. God...I'm so going soft.

Selena

Danny falls asleep and I hand him back to his parents, "So cute."

Vanessa looks at my stomach, "So when is Eli coming?"

I shrug, setting hands on my stomach, "Sometime next week. Maybe earlier."

She nods, "Be prepared."

I nod, "I am."

Mark

I kiss Selena's temple and find I can't take my eyes off of Danny. So peaceful. How is that possible?

Selena

Vanessa looks at Mark, "You wanna hold him?" She asks.

Mark

I nod and gently take Danny in my arms, looking down at him as I do.

Selena

I watch Mark and lean against him, picturing it as Eli.

Mark

Before I can reveal how vulnerable I am to Vanessa and Jonah, I hand their child back and wrap my arms around Selena.

Selena

I wrap my arms back around Mark and and Jonah looks at his child, "See? It's not do bad," He whispers, letting Danny hold his pinky.

Vanessa glares at him, pulling her child away, "You'll hurt him."

I watch. Wait. They had a baby...but they aren't together? That's just wrong...

Mark

I watch the two, my heart aching at the trauma the child will go through later on in life when realizing that his birth parents hate each other. May God have mercy on your soul, Danny. You'll need it.

Selena

My heart aches and I sigh, "Do you realize...how responsible you have to be to raise a child, V?" I ask, "You'll need all the help you can get."

She looks at me, "You'll help?"

I roll my eyes, "Yeah, of course I will, just not always. You'll need Jonah. Trust me."

She glances at him before shaking her head and I sigh again, "And don't you want Danny to be happy? He won't be once he finds out you both hate eachother."

She sighs and just focuses on her baby. D*mn. This girl is hard to break.

Mark

I sigh and watch Vanessa before looking at Jonah, who's face is so blank it's hard to tell what he's thinking. Even if they did get along, who the hell would want him as a father?

Selena

I sigh and know exactly what Mark's thinking. I flash a smile before shaking my head at him. Jonah looks back at Vanessa and tries to take Danny again, "Give me my baby, Vanessa."

She shakes her head and pulls back again, "No!"

Jonah tightens his jaw and takes him anyway, Vanessa slapping him across the face, "B*tch!"

I swear and seperate them, "It's a f*cking baby! Calm down. You're holding a baby."

Mark

I move to space them out a bit more, backing Jonah up and making sure Danny's alright.

"Get along," I tell them, "If not for your sanity, for your kid's sake."

Selena

Vanessa's eyes lock on her child and I sigh, "Go relax," I tell her, "Go to dinner. Atleast try to get along for me, alright."

She studies me before walking out, "Jonah!" She calls from the hall.

Jonah doesn't waste a second, running after her. I close the door and take a deep breath, running a hand through my hair.

Cole comes from the bathroom again in human form and leans against the wall, "That poor pup. Those people scare me."
