Hey I have a question: In what time period does this take place? Is there any technology? Or is magic used? Or what?

Magic is used yes theres tech rarely used tho, and this is five year's after WW2

So what are the kingdoms like? Sort of a cross between fantasy and historical fiction?

The kingdoms ARE NOT modern. As MM said, this takes place anout fiv years after WW2 so The castles would be pretty...fantasy-like. And yes, it's totally historical fiction.

Would like to have Topez knights post them leaving out of the kingdom so I can have fun with Celes messing with them.
