Primo / A balcony overlooking the city
From the balcony overlooking the dark spires of my city, I watched the bustle, leaning on the banister, my robe whipping in all directions. The full moon cast a baleful light over the streets, the lamposts barely compensating. I breathed in deeply behind my mask, taking in the scents. Casually, I took a swig from my flask, the blood staining my lips ruby red. I spat. Stale... I'll have to replenish my stocks sometimes soon.
"You summoned me, brother?" I recongized the bored, slightly impatient voice instantly.
"Indeed," I replied, without turning. "The missing child, the one that can control the elements... he or she will be instrumental to our kingdom's victory. We must find the boy. You are the most powerful warrior in this kingdom. Nobody else matches your prowess in battle... you are the most ideally suited to find the child. For the good of our kingdom. What say you?"
