Okay, so here are the rules (don't worry, there aren't too many!):
1) No ridicule or abuse of other members.
2) No explicit sex scenes (don't spoil it for younger members, but up to a point is o.k.)
3) You should be undead, for preference, unless you are a Human wishing to offer yourself as a Blood Donor.
4) Please, state your name and species (and gender if the name doesn't give it away!) at the beginning of your post, to avoid confusion.

So, I'm all done with the rules and regulations bit, here's what you need to know about the setting:

The restored Elizabethan 16th century tavern is exactly as it was when built, authentic to the last detail (so far as it is tasteful, at least). There are nooks everywhere, with candle-lit benches, and upstairs as single- and twin-bed rooms, available at your request.
The menu caters for literally every taste, so feel free to order absolutely anything you like.

That's me done now, so all that's left to say is 'Enjoy!'

Sebastien, Vampire Elder, Male

Seb waltzed into the familiar bar, smiling as he took in the decor, still as he remembered it, though his last visit had been, oh... 300 years ago? He frowned. Surely, it couldn't have been so long? But it was.
"Make it port, neat," he called across the wooden counter, polished with the many arms that had nursed drinks upon it. A pewter flagon was pushed across to him, and he took the drink to a secluded corner, sipping the numbing liquid gratefully.
He needed to forget what had happened, and this was just the place to do it. All he needed now was company, preferably amiable...

Alexandria La'More- Vampire, Female

Alex trudged into the tavern as quietly as possible, not saying a word to anyone else there although she could feel some people staring at her.

She took a seat at the first empty table she found sitting quietly out of the rain, feeling relief at being inside away from the crowded streets.

Tiredly she lay her head against the back of the chair, breathing deeply and trying to forget the previous three minutes.

What could have happened.

This place was peaceful.
She'd be Okay.

Shaun Keats - vampire, male

Shaun watched from his secluded table as the two vampires walked in. They both looked distressed, the woman even more so than the man. Shaun looked down at the table and sighed. It seemed like all three of them had been through something traumatic. Shaun looked back up at them, and was once again reminded of what made him different. Nothing really surprised him anymore--nothing could. He rolled up his coat sleeve absentmindedly, revealing the first of his fifteen bullet scars.

Shaun shook his head, and pushed his sleeve down again. Perhaps he should go talk to the other two...

-Alexandria La’More-

After a while the time of just “sitting in silence’ ended. In the end what had happened wouldn’t matter. Not in the long run.

Telling herself this over and over Alex forced herself to sit up straighter in her chair taking in her surroundings.

Beside the bartender behind the counter of the bar there were only two other people in the bar.

One was sitting up tall in his chair, an empty cup in front of him. He had a certain sense of ‘importance’ around him.
Lie he had a purpose for everything. Like he would know what he was doing.

The other seemed to have been there for a while, probably having been in here even before her and the other man.
He slumped in his chair eyeing both her and the other guy… like she was.

Silently she looked away, wondering if she should just go over there and say hello.

He didn’t look all that much happier than she did.

-Shaun Keats-

Shaun finally decided to make the first move. He didn't want to spend the whole night alone.

He pushed himself out of his chair and walked over to the bar, hoping his limp didn't show too much. He frowned, forcing himself to take even steps. He had worn his coat tonight so that people wouldn't notice his scars, and he wasn't about to let the limp ruin everything.

Shaun hopped up onto a barstool and spun to face the bar, but his left boot caught in the stool's rungs. He looked down and twisted, trying to yank his foot free, but that was his injured leg, and he only entangled his boot further. He sighed, and reached down, pulling his boot out and setting it down on one of the rungs.

"Scotch, please," he said to the bartender, looking down to hide his embarrassment. As he looked up again, he noticed the woman staring at him. He smiled tightly, trying to be pleasant. "Can I get you anything?" he asked.

Kellina O'Rell- Female- Vampire

Keller walked into the building through the lesser known back entrance that she'd discovered at her last trip here around a century ago. Nothing really hd changed. Nothing but the people.

Sitting in the bar, all sitting at different tables around the room.

Keller walked straight up to the bar, not pausing a step until she was there, sitting at one of the many stools.

I lean.

"Can I get you anything?" The bartender asks and I shake my head slightly.

"Not right now." I tell him, turning my head away, content to just sit there for a moment.

I look at my watch, my friend Zeke shoud be here soon.

If I'm lucky.

Johanna Smite Vampire

Johanna walked into the bar which a she had not seen in at leasta hundred years. She smelled the Familiar sent alcohol and blood. Smiling with satisfaction she went and sat down next to an old friend. "Fancy seeing you here Shaun." She said.

"Johanna Smite. Long time no see." He says. "What are you doing back in this wretched little town?"

"Well Shaun, I got bored with drinking the same old blood and decided it was time to bring back some memories.''

He laughs. "I bet you got in trouble with an elder or a hunter didn't you." He says taking a sip of his drink.

"Don't start with me Shaun. I did not come back here to be judged."

"Not judging, just a prediction. We both know how you can be." He says laughing.

"All this talking is making me thirsty." She say. ''Can I please get drink?"She asked putting on her flirty smile she is known for.

"What would you like?" He asks.

She takes a quick look around to make sure the is no humans. "Yes, come closer." shsays. He leans in and she bites him and sucks his blood. "Okay you cn forget every thing that just happened and get me a wine."

-Shaun Keats-

Shaun shook his head. "You are unbelievable," he said to Johanna. "If he forgets my scotch..."

Johanna frowned. "What's up with you?" she asked. "Having a bad day?"

"Bad night last night, actually," Shaun replied. "I miss my brother."

"Here we go..." Johanna muttered. "Got another story?"

"No," Shaun sighed. "I'll spare you the gory details this time." He was about to say more, but decided against it.

"Aw, no gory details?" Johanna said theatrically. When Shaun didn't reply, she looked down at his boots. "So why was your foot stuck in the stool?" she asked.

"Surely you remember that," Shaun replied, trying and failing to be light about it. "Thirteen bullets and some barbed wire? That was the barbed wire part."

Johanna

“Well considering how boring you are being, you might need a little more scotch than you ordered.” Johanna said getting up.

“What are you doing?” he asks.

“Getting the good stuff.” Johanna said walking behind the bar.

“Hey you cannot be back here.” The bartender said.

Johanna looked into his eyes. “You are going to let me back here and not get in my way.” she said.

“I am going to let you back here and not get in your way.” he said as if hypnotized.

“Good, now move.” She said pushing past him and going in front of Shaun. She got a tall glass and filled it half way with scotch and half way with tequila. She slid it close to Shaun.

“I am not going to drink that.” he said. “Do you know how big of a hangover I am going to have if I drink that?”

“Look Shaun you cannot go out in the sun in the morning anyway. Unless you want to burn to death, which I know you do not want to do. Look drink hard tonight, then sleep all day tomorrow.” Johanna said. “Oh come on, you know you do not want to feel all the crap you are feeling now.”

He looked from her to the drink. “Fine.” he said. Shaun tool a large swig of the drink. “God that is strong.”
“That's the point. Wow Shaun, a lot had happened to you since I was gone.”

“You were gone for a hundred year Johanna. What did you expect?” Shaun said.

“I did not expect anything to happen. It does not matter, when that kicks in,” She said pointing to the drink. “You will be back to normal.”

Harper Hope, Male, Human

Approaching the tavern, Harper pulled open the door and almost immediately felt about a dozen pairs of eyes on him. Walking up the heavy wooden counter, Harper places his scarred hands on the counter and requested a drink.

Accepting whatever was brought to him, his sleeve rose, revealing a variety of bite marks decorating his fair skin.

Tugging the sleeve back down, Harper took a seat and looked through his dark hair and at the beings around him with interest

Johanna

She pulled her hair back behind her ears. The sent of blood fills the air again. Her fangs came out again, but she tried to resist it for a second. She looked over and saw Alex, a girl she use to party with a while back. “Wipe that depressing look off you face and come drink with me.” She said leaning my head towards the guy that just walked in.

“Great way to come back into town, kill someone right when you come back.” She said taking a sip of her drink.

“Alex, you will be happy to know I have not killed anyone in sixty years. I just drink half of their blood and make them forget everything. Most of their time if there blood type is not B positive, I stop.” she said smiling.

“Wow, such an improvement.” She says laughing.

“It is. I have some self control. Very exciting. Come one and have a drink. I can smell the blood circling through his veins.” She waited a minute and walked over to him before Alex could give her an answer. “Hi.” She said.

“Hi.” he says. She could sense the fear.

“No need to be afraid.” She said. I grabbed his hand and pulled his sleeve down. She saw the bit marks. “What did this to you?” She asked.

“Um, my dog.” He said. His arms started to shake.

“You do not have to lie to me. I know what did this to you.” She said batting her eye lashes.

“How?” he asked.

She let her fangs out. “Cause I am going to do the same thing.” She said and she bit him.

Harper Hope

"Hi." The girl cooed. Harper swallowed, sudden adreniline coursing through him. Adreniline and fear.

This is the part he didnt like.

"Hi." He replied.

"No need to be afraid." She remarked, grabbing his hand and sliding up his sleeve.

"What did this to you?" She asked, question in her eyes.

"Uh, my dog." He lied. His arms shook, and he was about to back out. He'd made a mistake. He needed to stop this.

And then she said, "You dont have to lie to me. I know what did this to you."

"How." I stated, not questioned. I already knew.

"Because I'm going to do the same thing." She purred, her fangs coming out, and she bit into the boy's arm.

He let out a hiss as adreniline surged through him.

This was the part he loved.

Johanna

She took her fangs out of his arm and smiled, letting his arm fall to the table. “Delicious.” She mumbled. She wiped the blood from her chin. She looked over to Alex. “See I told you had self control.”

Alex rolled her eyes and went back to drinking. Johanna sighed and poured her a shot and downed it. She looked back at the boy. She raised her eyebrows at him. “You did not struggle. You knew I am a vampire and you knew I was going to bite you. Why did you let me.” She asked downing a shot.

She took her fangs out of his arm and smiled, letting his arm fall to the table. “Delicious.” She mumbled. She wiped the blood from her chin.

She looked over to another vampire and smirked, “See I told you had self control.”

The girl sighed and poured herself a shot, downing just as quick. She looked back at the boy.

She raised her eyebrows at him as he helf out his arm, pouring his drink over the fresh bite, and then licked it to aid it.

“You did not struggle. You knew I am a vampire and you knew I was going to bite you. Why did you let me.” She asked downing a shot.

Raising his eyebrows, he downed the remainder of his drink, leaned closely, the adreneline still pounding in his ears, and said, "It's fun"
