Eagle Crest Hallows

He swallows before jumping up and following her. Halfway up the stairs, a wave of lightheadedness hits him and he has to stop, leaning on the railing.

I bring them downstairs, passing Jace and sit down on the front porch outside for them to get some air.

Jace's heart starts randomly racing and he's out of breath for no reason. Not sure what else to do, he descends the stairs again before collapsing with his vision hazed.

I hear Jace collapse on the stairs and I sigh.

Am I the only strong one here?

I don't know what to do, my head going different directions.

He tries to stand, but can't, cursing under his breath.
"Ray?" He calls, his voice sounding more like a whimper than anything.

"Yea after nearly meeting death you finally give in, so you made the deal now you're my boy toy for the rest of you're life." I said.

I swallow and hesitate before leaving the babies on the chair and rush inside crouching before Jace. I smile slyly at him. "Yes?"

"And what would that entail?" I move closer to her.

Jace squints to be able to see Rayah. "I-I can't get up... My head..."

I sigh, and give him my hand, helping him up, healing his head in the process.

He thanks her and uses the wall to bring himself to sit on the couch, hating how formal things felt between them.

I watch him and sit next to him and hesitate before grabbing his hand, letting him no I was here.

"Just follow behind." I tell him.

I turn around and walk back to the house as I get into the door I place my sword on the table, and then move upstiars to grab something out of the bathroom, walk back out and go into the guest bedroom. Lead Andrew in and close the door behind him.

"Since I'm not drunk this time, you use "this" in the case you can't make it in time." I said and he nodded quickly.

He watches confusedly as Gemini and Andrew walk into the guest bedroom and then turns to Rayah. "I think we should go upstairs..."

I nod and lead him upstairs, grabbing the kids and putting them to sleep before I do. I get upstairs and sit on our bed, sighing.
