Eagle Crest Hallows

He smiles and kisses the side of her face.

Riley wakes but doesn't cry. I flash a smile at her, "Morning, sweetheart." I whispered, bringing her into my arms.

He watches, smiling at them both, and looks at Logan, wondering if he feels left out.

"Should we wake Logan? They need to eat." I ask in a whisper.

"Never wake a sleeping baby." He whispers. "They always get cranky after that."

I sigh, "I'm gonna feed Rye then." I hand her to Jace then walk down stairs to get some food.

He smiles at his little girl and scoots over to take his wife's spot.

I come back up with different kinds of baby food. I sit on the side of the bed and smile. "Do you think she'll like peaches?"

He looks at Rayah with a smile. "Sure. Isn't she nature? Won't she like most of those things?"

I nod, smiling.

"Hey, Rye..." I say in a whisper. "Wanna try some yummy peaches?"

She giggles and reaches out for it. I take the mini spoon and feed it to her. She smiles and I nod.

"She likes it." I chuckled.

He smiles at them and looks at Logan, who stirs slightly.

Logan opens his eyes and flashes a smile. I take him in my arms and feed him the same thing, Jace holding Riley.

He shakes his head at his wife, wiping away excess food from the corner of Riley's mouth.

I watch him, smiling. "What?"

"Nothing." He replies, glancing up at her.
