Kei wakes and smiles at me. I hug him, kissing the top of his head, and smile back.

I breathed deeply as Kei falls back asleep. Remembering my life as a regular hormoned teenaged girl. Remembering everything from my past before my power's.

"It's just that when I gained my power's ever since I did, my life has never been the same. Going to Sooth's camp, being there as a refugee outlawed by the goverment. I want my old life back, when I was top dog of the LET 2's of my Army JROTC unit. When I was Cadet Sergeant First Class Lazarus. When I was respected by my fellow cadets, when I was going to be promoted to Sergeant Major of the LET 2's the next year over. When I was still top dog. But now look at me here I am Gemini Lazarus, The Devil of Black Thunder, which I don't even have my Black thunder, and the Scourge of The Sky. feared, not respected, but feared by the goverment and fighting what I took an oath to uphold. Fighting what I wanted to become in my normal future, a future Marine Corp soldier the best of the best." I said fighting my emotion's though out what I was saying.

Ronan

Kei falls back asleep and I listen to Gemini, looking at her as she speaks. When she finishes, empathetic emotions build up inside me and I hesitantly take her hand.

"We all want our lives back," I say. "I want my parents back. Don't get me wrong, I love Kei, but he's a handful sometimes. I can't calm him like my parents used to. I can't replace them like part of me wants to..."

I look down at him.

"I just don't want to have to worry anymore."

Gemini Lazarus

"It just makes me wonder in th end, what my mom and dad would say about all this. I'm sure there still angery for what I did to them." I said taking a deep breath and locking my emotion's back up.

Ronan

I study her, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze, and scoot closer without waking Kei.

"Same here," I whisper.

Rayah

Jace hushes me and patches up my hip as I take a deep breath and flash a small smile, "Thanks." I jump down and slowly walk back into the living room and sit on the far end of the couch.

"Hey, Gem." I say, looking at her. I let out a yawn and shift on my side, putting my feet up on the coffee table.

Someone knocks on the door and I walk over, sighing as I open the door. I see two large men probrably twice my height. I take a couple steps back and swallow. "C-C-Can I help you?"

I felt a strange vibe and realized it.

It's my turn...

Some powerful, yet familiar, aura reached me. I shfited uncomfortably, waking up. I see the two men and something about them is familiar.

Indigo

I follow Master and Mistress and curl up in Sleepy's lap, shivering with fear still. Someone comes to the door and Mistress' mood changes for the worse. Master senses something, as does Sleepy, and heads over to her protectively. I keep an eye on the Talls and wait for something to happen, suppressing a growl.

Gemini Lazarus

I look to the door and see two guards come though the door I jump up in sensing danger, Ronan was on his feet to. I stab my blade into the ground and tighen my grip, as I raise my arm up and blue lightning channeling into both my arms. What I once called my blade "The Black Queen" was now "The Blue Queen" I look into the men as I ready for battle. Ready to kill if need be.

Rayah

I swallow again and clutch Jace's hand tightly.

"Rayah, It's your turn." They say.

I nod, "I know but didn't my father explain to you that--"

They don't let me finish, "Come now. The war has started."

I look back at Jace and then Gem, Taking a step foward. "I-I'll be back. It's my turn to fight..."

Indigo

Everyone but Sleepy is standing, watching the door.

"N-no, Rayah," Master tells Mistress, "This isn't... It's not fair. You have a family now."

Rayah

"It isn't my decision." I tell him, letting go of his hand. "I'll try to come back. I'll fight as hard as I can. I promise."

Gemini Lazarus

"And you, you use lightning and you're not fighting on the front lines? Zeus has ordered his children to be fighting on the front lines at all times." The man said.

I stare at him, in disbeilf gods don't exsit.

"Whoever made the order is certainly stupid, and I'm not a child of Zeus, and I'm not going to fight in some war." I said.

Ronan

I watch it all, the boy not wanting this at all. They mention something about Gemini and I look at her as she rejects them in disbelief.

"We aren't demigods," I look at the men, "We're nothing of the sort."

Rayah

I raise my hand, "I am." I sigh. One of them grabs me by the arm and I look at him. "Don't. Touch. Me." I shoot him a look and he lets go just as the other one picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN!!" I yell, refusing.
