almost everyone wants to go to america. they talk about it with so much....love.
one time one of them was like, "i want to go to america one day" and i was like, "why not canada?" she was like"maybe...but between the two of them, america is a party" (that part anoyed me cuz i knew she didn't know anything about canada.) she said canada is too quiet compared to the u.s.(on t.v theresus news, shows,music, movies)
when i asked her where's canada she was like, "umm...is it in london"

i was like honestly people! you know where the U.s is but you dont know that canada is the U.S neighbour.

its nothing to do with the U.S helping them. they just see american life as a party every day. they want to join that party. (miley syrus song didn't help much)

Lol. We aren't all that over here...not anymore anyways. There's little to no opportunites left for bright futures and the ideal of the American Dream isn't realistic. I mean, sure, if you become a pop star overnight then you can have all that. But the regular people... we don't have that.
I guess that's why I don't get the Americanization thing...

it was so weird, they were celebrating obama's election and then made a holiday that day. i didn't complain cuz there was no school.

boring history fact: obamas dad is kenyan. his tribe and the president of kenya's tribe is the same. obama has family in kenya, he came to visit.

I heard about them visiting Africa, but I didn't know they went to Kenya.
