The Moosehead Tavern [2]

Six long years had passed since I last saw Rayah and Jace, six long years, but now they were back I hid in the top of the tavern. but I wanted to mess with them. I held out my hand and the lights began to flicker eventually turning off.

"This is Riley and the one with Jace is Logan." As soon as I said that the lights turned off and both Riley and Logan started crying. "Shh...Shhh...It's okay." I picked Riley up and formed fire in my fist for light and saw Kelly. "Really? Your trying to scare my kids?"

I shifted Riley to my left arm and turned the light back on. I walked back over to Jace and sat next to him, still looking at Kalen, "Oh My god he's grown..." I said smiling.

Jace smiles at Rayah's comment and nods, consoling Logan. He looks to Kalen to see that bright eyed grin again.
"But he's still the same."

I nodded, "Yeah. So Joey, Sai, how you've been?" I said trying to keep Riley from crawling on the table.

Joseph, Sai, and Kalen join them at the table. Joseph looks to his son, allowing him to tell the story like he wanted.
We've been good, coz. For my birthday this year, Daddy taught me how to manage in a fight. It was fun. I got to win against a monster like you did, Kalen signs.

I nodded, "That's good. We haven't found out Riley's power yet but our little Logan here found his about a week ago and nearly burt down the whole house." I said laughing shaking my head at Logan. "But we're proud of him."

The family smiles.
"Does he have fire like you?" Sai asks.

I shake my head, "No, he has lightning." I smiled. "I'm trying to teach Riley how to find hers but she's too scared. I'll have to wait until she gets alil' older." I shrugged. "But she has a hard punch...That's for sure."

Joseph nods, smiling.
"They're cute." He says. "How old now?"
