Elle || Niah | Keollseu

"Thank you," she murmered, she slured slightly from the blood loss but she'd be okay. "I'm Katarzyna," She said more confidently this time, offering her hand too. I took it smiling.
"Strange... That's not what you're tag says," She cringed slightly, "Don't worry, Niah or Elle, call me either," Katarzyna kinda smiled back, but both our faces turned into furrowed looks of confusion as the graphics sputtered and juttered around us. It finally settled out again but we'd changed locations, and another female, with rather a lack off amour, was limping over to us. She reached us and was just about to speak when the graphics glitched again landing us in a slightly wooded area.
"What the-?" I blurted. All three of us were dazed. I saw that the necomer's tag read 'Nalkair'; a named I'd heard before but didn't really know.
"Ha, ha! I've got you now boy!" The shout pulled all of our attention to a boy being run down by a known war lord on a horse. Now, that's just not fair I thought. I stepped away from the injured duo, it was clear to me that Nalkair had twisted her ankle, and began to raise the earth to block the passage of the man on horseback.

Kat Rayfell| ZynaRay|Keolloseu

After shaking hands with Elle, she slowly began to notice the small group of people forming around the two of them. Her vision was still hazy, but she could see well enough to know who crowded her, The first was a girl who seemed to do a double take when looking at them the first time around, then eventually limped beside them. The second, Ryken , was someone everyone knew. His acts of kindness saved many lives around the less fortunate parts of this world. She would never expect to meet him asking for help.

Before he could speak, Elle stood, fast , knowing that someone was most likely after him. She confidently rose the earth in front of thew man on horseback. She was more powerful than one would think. While Elle was dealing with the man behind him, I spoke in a hushed whisper to Ryken.

"Give me what you stole." She said blankly. He looked at Katarzyna confused and half insulted. Apparently he didn't understand. "Give me what you stole, i'll hide it under my armor. He won't expect me to have it. If he makes it passed Niah, lose him; I know you can do that. Then come and get your winnings."

I'm really sorry I haven't gotten to post until now! *sweatdrop* Also, I added a picture to the character profile, since I realized that nearly everyone else has one.

Rielyn Machuka | Aria | Keolloseu

I closed my eyes for a moment, my body relaxing as I allowed virtual reality to become reality. I smiled at the name above my head - Aria. I loved that name, and I went by it here, even with people I knew in real life. Supposedly it was because my parents were paranoid about internet stalkers, but in truth I enjoyed being someone else entirely, someone apart from worldly troubles.

I decided to leave the city and explore the woods around a little. There were all kinds of fun little things to explore in the wilderness. I jogged for a time down a trail, and then I realized what was off.

My legs were beginning to feel sore from running - I was used to not getting tired, or sore. Unconsciously, I stopped and stretched; it felt good. Maybe this was some sort of weird error; I decided to restart my computer.

But nothing happened. I tried to leave the game, and I couldn't. For a moment, I laughed quietly to myself and tried again. But nothing happened. I could feel myself start to slip back into my body, but I couldn't get out. I couldn't get out! Panic began to well up inside me. There was nothing I could do about this. I was helpless.

Suddenly I heard a neigh from behind me. I whirled around, but not in time to dodge the horse that barreled straight into me. I cried out as pain slashed across my side. I tumbled to the ground and rolled to my side, pushing myself off the ground and glaring after the rider that had run me down, but he was almost gone. He didn't even look back - he seemed to be after someone.

I stood and saw a pair looking at me - where had they come from? I rose unsteadily and walked - limped, actually - towards them, but before I could speak, they vanished in a strange whirl of pixels. I blinked, and then roared aloud in anger and panic. What the heck was going on? I had to do something - anything. Control was slipping out of my fingers.

"Ha!" a voice shouted - I thought it must be the rider. "I've got you now, boy!" So he was a killer as well as a jerkface. I turned to face the direction of the shout.

"So I'm just an obstacle, huh?" I snarled, and I ran off after him, snaking through undergrowth and vines. Finally I found him fighting someone who had to be a healer. There were others behind the healer, but I didn't have time to read anyone's names. I ran forward and leaped onto the warlord's horse, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him to the ground. I stood over him, twin claws flicking out.

"Just run over me, why don't you!" I shouted at him. He started to draw his sword, but I slashed at him with my claws and he stopped. "What's so important, huh?" Abruptly I realized that this guy looked to be a warlord. That gave him no right to just barrel me over for no reason, but he wasn't just some punk. Actually, he was, just a rich, highly skilled punk. But he looked cowed - he was probably drunk. Abruptly I realized that I was making quite a scene. I looked around, at the people around me.

The healer was Niah. I'd heard of her - the Earth Weaver, she was called. There were two girls I didn't recognize at first, and the man who must have been the warlord's target - Ryken. I'd heard of him for sure. I liked his motives, but his methods made me disposed against him. Stealing was wrong, whoever you were stealing for. Not that I would turn him in, but I didn't like him. Turning my attention to the others, I realized that I'd seen Niah and one other girl - ZynaRay - just moments ago, before they'd vanished strangely. Now they were watching me warily.

"What?" I demanded. "The jerk literally ran me over with his horse - chasing after you, might I add." I pointed a claw at Ryker. "What'd you steal from him anyways?" I spat the word 'steal' out, disliking it. Even from an idiot jerk, it was stealing.

Leon Miller | Ryken | Keolloseu

“Well!” Ryken dramatically placed a hand to his heart. “I’m insulted!”

The newcomer quirked an unimpressed brow. “You’re a terrible liar … Ryken.”

“Ah, so you’ve heard of me,” he smirked.

“Oh yes,” she answered. “Now answer the question.”

Ryken cocked his head to the side and smirked at her. He had no idea who this girl was but there was a feistiness in her that was quite refreshing. “Alright fine, but stealing is such an ugly word. I prefer to call it … relocating …”

“Ha! Relocating …” scoffed the drunken war lord. He was still pinned down to the floor by the newcomers claws. “This boy’s ‘relocated’ one of my most precious diamonds!”

Ryken put his best ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about face’. “Perhaps you’ve fallen a bit too hard from your horse,” he said to the war lord, before looking back up at the newcomer. “I blame the alcohol ...”

She still appeared thoroughly un-impressed.

Tough crowd.

“Just hand his diamond back and let him be on his way,” she grounded out.

Ryken glanced sideways at the other girl, the one who he’d just given the diamond to keep safe for him. “Well, I don’t have a diamond …” He rummaged through the pocket of his jerkin and pulled out a small black object. “How about a whetstone instead?”
