Please! I'd recommend putting a picture of your character! The characters are made to reflect your looks or personality , so those who do not post one will be assumed to look like their person in real life.
I've never played World of Warcraft, so I don't know much detail-wise... are characters allowed animal companions? (Like dogs, horses, etc)
"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"
Sorry... I haven't had much time to write... I'll try to make a character, but I can't today either... Keep holding the spot. Tell me when it's too late...
When you really want to slap someone,do it and say "Mosquito!"
Ranger, yes they can. But, I want to save that for a reward later in the SB
Name: Katarzyna [Kuh-tar-zhen-uh] "Kat" Rayfell.
Character Name: ZynaRay
Age: 16 1/2
Gender: Female.
What type of character?: Fighter
Appearance: Reality:Spoiler
Game:Spoiler
She has more armor and she also holds an extra sword.
Personality:
Don't let her face fool you , Katarzyna is a spitfire. She is the type of person who can be your best friend or worst enemy and has been on The glitch since the day it first arrived at her families game shop at which she pretty much owns. Katarzyna is one of most trustworthy people you will ever meet. She is generally sweet and giving, but has a hardened spot in her heart for certain types of people who resemble her brothers.
She's very hard on herself mentally, but puts on a mask to camouflage any self doubt. She is an advice giver at the least, she loves to make people smile as different as that may seem from her. She's not afraid to speak her mind. Though it gets her in trouble most of the time, she usually doesn't regret her words. Some say she's a natural leader, but she prefers to be second in command because she doesn't like pressure in making decisions and would fear for the safety of her group.
Katarzyna is very outgoing and certainly her own person. She is very determined and a force to mess. She loves and respects people who give her a chance to give her point of view rather than comment on the unknown. You hardly ever know what she's thinking , and is completely A.D.D When she's not playing video games, she's either reading or writing, it's a lifestyle choice.
Strong points/ weaknesses:
Her strong points certainly include her confidence in battle and knowledge of the game as well as her persuasive edge when chatting with someone, especially women. She has a very high pain tolerance and has scars to prove her bravery. Her sweet but sassy nature tends to give her the element of surprise. She knows who she is, and her confidence gives her an edge. She is very good at portraying false emotions but doesn't like to deceive people unless it's necessary. She also has a semi-photographic memory and is an amazing pick pocket.
Being a perfectionist, she tends to overestimate herself and over think most situations, usually causing a breakdown later, but she won't show it. She's scared of water because of her past. Besides in battle, she has trouble making decisions, and tends to go against what's good for her. She pushes away from anything that reminds her of her brothers, making it more difficult to talk to the opposite gender, especially if they're like them.
History(optional):
Katarzyna grew up as a middle child and the daughter of a game maker, her family owns the local game shop, and since the death of her mother and the arrests of her brothers, she has practically ran the business. Her father used to be very supportive and a social butterfly along with her mother, but as soon as her brothers got diagnosed , Tanner with schizophrenia, Russel with extreme bipolar disorder, everything changed. Tanner, with help from Russel , committed a total of four murders , including her mothers, and an attempted drowning of Katarzyna. Her father and her old friends have kept a distance ever since, hurting her and giving her a lonely feeling she doesn't want anyone to endure.
Why you are playing: When the game store got this game, she was excited to be one of the first to try it out. As she was left by her friends , and spaced in the relationship with her father, she uses the glitch as a way to use time when she's not helping with charities.
up for love?: Sure :3
other: She often does volunteer work to show kids that they're not alone because she wishes someone would have done the same for her.

Male player coming up Also, I've only played about five minutes of World of Warcraft. I do have fantasy gaming experience from Guild Wars, but when I get stuff wrong, just correct me.
Name: Jackie McKnight Character Name: Naerma Age: If this is character age, about 30. If not, I'll just be an older teen player. Gender: Male Character type: Ranger Appearance: Rugged, tanned, with a few scars and the likes. Really Naerma is everything you would expect to see in someone who lives like he does. Spoiler
A tad camp, but you get the idea...
ranger.jpg (10.51 KiB) Viewed 192 times
Personality: Dependable, but often lacking the courtesy to inform others of what he plans; he may disappear mid-battle, only to attack unseen from a new angle. Strong points/ weaknesses: Naerma is a master of camouflage, and of manipulating the terrain to his advantage. However, he is a poor communicator, and his strong sense of nobility and loyalty can mean he takes unnecessary risks in the place of someone more able than he is. History: As it might be important, I'll do Jackie and Naerma Jackie McKnight is an underachieving high school dropout who first picked up World of Warcraft at age 16. Since the spinoff, he hasn't even left his bedroom. Naerma has taken part in over 500 campaigns and quests, and is one of the most skilled tacticians alive. Why you are playing: To become the best, of course. Up for love?: This is a teenage boy we're talking about. Other: If pets are allowed, Naerma will probably have a jaguar or alligator or something, I won't bother thinking about it more until I know for certain.
At the end of the day, when the sun is gone and the light is lost, the shadows will play.
Ahh! No! This cannot die before it starts! I was really excited about this! *CPR*
Should we go ahead and start posting/planning, Insanity, or do you want to see if anyone else will join?
"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"
You never get used to the tingly feeling of slipping out of your physical body into a new world. Some would say it's addicting; Katarzyna being one of those people. Chills rushed through her body as the colors materialized around her new body. The bright green words came last. 'ZynaRay' steadily above her avatars body. The hot sun was beating down on her as she ran out of the gates towards the wilderness. She followed a path until she came across her next target. Towering bears. Some were stained with blood, not their own, while others stayed to the side, out of harms way. She attacked the first one, with her glowing sword. Something felt, different. Instead of the normal numb swing of her arms, she could feel the muscles stretching to reach with the sword. When the bear retaliated from the swing, it quickly reached up a large paw and crashed it onto her shoulder down to her chest. Katarzyna felt the heavy sting and the gash of trickling blood down her body.
What was happening? The world before her flashed and seized, no matter how much she wanted to move, she couldn't. Kat was used to the gaming lag, but this was indescribable. She reached up, arms searing with hot flames of pain licking up her arms, and tried to release herself from the new virtual world. She felt herself being separated from her character, but she didn't pass half way. She collapsed on the ground as the world sped to catch up. She wasn't dead. Neither was the bear. She gathered up all of her strength and pulled herself through the opening away from the bear, then she fell into darkness.
Katarzyna's pain didn't cease when she woke up. Where was she? Her eyes shifted to the new light and her head spun as she sat up. This wasn't home. She was still ZynaRay. Her arm felt limp, but with the other, she tried once more to grasp the virtual reality glasses, instead, her hand connected with the eyes of her character. Herself. She sat back, aching. Hoping she could think of something before she died of blood loss.
So how's this gonna work? Are we all going to try and tke of the VR (Virtual Realitly) glasses but fall into the glitch or what? Glad this has started.
Elle || Niah | Keolloseu
I stretched out my arms to the sides, as I walked up to the gates of Keolloseu. Silently I smiled up at the sky and sun, loving the feeling that walking gave me, although I did hate the city... In fairness I only ever came to the city to resuply my little hidy-hole, you can't get everything you want or need in Wind Tail Forest. Happy with the progress I'd made for one day I reached up to remove my VR glasses and save my location. It was weird, as if an update had been released; everythng had felt far more 'real' this time around. Even my magic felt real, rather than the environment just reacting to my will, I could actually feel the earth as if I were actually controlling it.
"Oooh..." I groaned. My head ached, how long had I been in the virtual world? I opened my eyes, letting them adjust to the low light levels. I shot to my feet when I realised I wasn't home, then paniced when I realised I was on my feet. I can't walk! Looking down at myself I discovered that I was still Niah. "What?" I murmured curiously. I scanned the place I was in, it looked like a room, somewhere deep within the city itself. I noticed a pair of feet sticking out around a corner and went to investigate. The feet belonged to a female, a very well armoured one at that, clutching to one arm with the other and with eyes closed. She had dark red stains running down the arm being held. Might as well put my skills into good use... I began to remove the armour pieces around her shoulder and arm, peeling back the under cloth revealing a nasty looking wound. She began to stirr under my touch. "Shhh, it's alright. I'm, only healing your wound," I said softly.

"Shhh,....alright.. only healing...your." The words weaved through her dazed reality in short waves. She couldn't resist the touch, and it began to sting. Her face scrunched in pain, but relaxed as the cool sensation began to flood through her. As the feeling continued, it began to warm bringing life back into her body. Katarzyna took a heavy breath in, held it for a few seconds, then let it out raggedly.
Her eyes flickered open to find a dark haired girl pressing her hand lightly, and full of force at the same time. Her eyes were filled with concentration. She let her eyes glance up to the glowing letters above the healers head. It read 'Niah'. She had heard the name around this game for a while, a lot of times they called her Earth-Weaver. The feeling returned to her once limp arm with this realization, and she sighed in relief. "Thank you"
As time progressed, she could feel the healed blood passing through her, as if circulation had just been regained. Glancing down at her shoulder, a claw like scar was left, the armor torn through. Great. Now she needed new armor. She sat up slowly, reaching out her hand. "I'm Katarzyna."
I sigh as I sat down in front of the computer, letting myself relax for a moment after finishing the dishes. My dad a left for work about an hour ago and I could already feel the loneliness start to settle in my bones. Maybe some of my friends are online. I thought as I turned on the computer.
As soon as the game started, I could feel the tingle of my conscience leaving my body and entering Nalkair's. Blinking a couple of times and doing some stretches, I quickly got use to the control's. The first thing I did was check who was online, no one. Sighing once again, I decided that I could do a couple quests to pass time. Opening up the menu, I selected a quest that sounded fun; killing Ragnarok, the head of a local raider group.
I already remembered where to go, so I headed in the direction. I was near the town of Keolloseu when I ran it to trouble. I was happily walking down the path and then I was falling. Landing with a small "thud", I then turned toward the opening. A man was leaning over the edge grinning at me.
"Well, well," I started. "Look what I caught. Give me all your money and I won't-" Before he could even finish the sentence, I had pulled an arrow from my pack, strung and then shot it. It landed right in this stomach. He fell back and I watched. Nothing. Deciding it was safe, I started to climb out of the hole. When I got to the top and stood, I pain shot through my leg. It's getting late. I'm tired and hurt. Time to go.
Only, it wouldn't let me. Trying it several more times, I started to get a sick feeling in my stomach. Maybe it just glitching, I thought. I'll head to the nearest town and see what I can do.
Upon entering town, I saw two people near each other. Thinking nothing of it; I continued to walk into town. I only stopped when I saw a pool of blood where I was standing. Following the trail, I led to the two people I noticed before. Cirousousity got the better of me as I started to limp over.

Sorry for the late post, guys. I hope this is okay. On a side note, I've finally put up a game picture of my character. I couldn't find a hot animated version of Robin Hood so I decided to go with Al-tair from Assassin's Creed instead
Leon Miller - Ryken - Keollseu
Keollseu: a hot bed for murderers, corruption, and in Ryken's case - thievery. Of course if you'd ask him he would say that was an unfair judgement of his character. Sure his mug-shot was currently pinned to every tavern, tree, and barn in the land, sure he had a bounty on his head that would make the king's treasury look like an eight-year-olds pocket-money, and maybe his head was wanted by war lords from almost every continent. But that didn't make him a thief. Oh, no. That just made him ... misunderstood.
"Ryken, you give me my diamond back you pig-spawn trollop!"
Okay, so maybe that did make him a thief.
"You'll have to catch me first!" he shouted back at the latest war lord after his head. The drunken fool had been chasing Ryken since dawn and it was fast approaching evening.
But Ryken wasn't tired. Not at all. In fact, he'd never felt more alive. If it was anything he loved more than stealing from the rich, it was the chase. The feeling of pure adrenaline rushing through your body as you ran through woods, town streets, markets, and underground tunnels - it was a high that he couldn't compare to anything back home in the real world.
"I'll catch you, boy!" the drunken war lord continued to bark after him. "And when I do, I'll have your head so far up a spike you'll look like a skewer!"
Ryken only laughed in response as he continued sprinting deeper into Keollseu's woods.
"Ha, ha! I've got you now, boy!"
Ryken turned his head breifly to see that the drunken war lord was now in sight. It appeared the fool had managed to grab himself a horse during the chase and he was now on the verge of catching up to him.
Damn it, thought Ryken. He clearly wasn't as drunk as I thought he was. Time to get out of here. I'll come up with a plan B tomorrow.
But the game wasn't letting him leave. Something was wrong. And just like that the adrenaline replaced itself with complete panick.
Well then, it looks like I'm gonna need that plan B now.
As if on cue, he heard voices ahead that sounded like they came from a female. Ryken ran towards it and sure enough, he saw not just one female but two, taking shade under one of the large trees. One was lying on the ground and judging by the look on her face she appeared to be injured. The other one seemed to be nursing her injuries. Ryken felt a smirk grow on his face.
It looks like I've just find myself a samaritan. Surley, they'd help me get out of this current predicament ... if I asked nicely, of course.
