Halfway to the snack machines, there's a blinding green light and I stumble backwards. Shielding my eyes with my arm, I pull Faith behind me and wait out the light. When I can see again, a guy sits against the wall with a sword in his hands.

Mako: the life force of the planet, it condenses in a pre chosen spot as the goddess makes her chosen warrior to aid and protect that planet. And here the goddess has done it, made her chosen warrior in the form, of a human. In the ideal image of the goddess of herself as a human.
My eyes open as I don't know where I am, I slowly look up and unfamiler things appear before me. A man and woman look down at me, my fingers curl around something, I look to see a sword. Spoiler

"Where, am I?" I ask.

I study the guy, hoping the sword if just from a reenactment, "Uh...well, to be frank, you're in hell. School, I mean. Sorry, I mix those two up. Who are you?"
He takes a few moments to answer, "Karan."

I didn't know how I came to have that name, but I just knew that name I stand holding the sword at my side. I look around taking in my surroundings, I was in this school place. I blink still not sure how I got here or why I was here, I was just here.
"This school, and you two. Who are you two?" I say slowly.
Pain behind my eyes throbs and I cringe trying to control the pain, like something I should know but didn't know. A missing memory or memories.

I wrap an arm around Faith, keeping her behind me still, and study the guy, "I'm Alex... this is my girlfriend, Faith. We don't know you, and we were just headed for the snack machines. If you'll excuse us..."

The two go off to the side as I sat there looking around, taking in my surroundings. I get to my feet as I look around, soon I see other people like the two from before. But they look different, I hold onto my sword with great care it was my only possession that I had. Maybe there were others like myself...

Slightly weirded out, I lead Faith to the snack machines before the bell rings and sigh as I pay for breakfast for the two of us.

In a flash of green light, I drop to sit and find myself in the middle of a strangely lit room. I clutch an emerald charmed necklace in one hand and notice a quiver and bow strapped to my back, silver tipped. Not recognizing any of it, I cautiously stand and look around. What is this place? Who... who am I?

Something just clicks mentally I begin running for reasons unknown, why was I? I didn't know where I was running but I ran up some stairs and soon I see a bright green flash of light, and then a girl with a bow and arrows and a necklance. She was stand, and by the look of it see was dazed. I walk up to her and take her hand, her eyes set on me and look at me up and down.
"Your Mako born." She blurts out.
"Hey, you ok? Are you the same as me?" I ask her.
All tho it was to soon for questions I couldn't help but feel like I was connected to this girl.

A boy comes running from somewhere and sits before me, asking questions. I blurt something out before he speaks but I don't recognize it. I don't process his questions right away, glancing around at my surroundings. When I look back at him and his sword, something whispers we might be connected somehow.
"Who are you?" I ask, not remembering the questions he asked me, "Where am I?"

"Were at school, I think. I don't know for sure myself. But I'm Karan and I think me and you are the same." I said.
