Alex

I sneak us into the library and hide us behind one of the bookshelves, telling her to stay put before going off in search of the fridge.

Faith

I watch him leave, leaning against the bookshelf.

Alex

I find it and start humming, taking a few snacks and iced teas before bringing them back to Faith and sitting down.

Faith

I smile at Alex and chuckle, "Hello there."

Alex

"Hello," I smile, lying down with my head on her lap and setting all the food and drink on my chest. I try and balance it all while opening one of the teas.

Faith

I smile at him and sigh, "I'm just going to watch all that fall now."

Alex

I smile and look up at her, watching her as she watches everything.

Faith

I catch him watching me and I smile, "Sup?"

Alex

I smile and hold up the opened tea, "Drink, kid. I'm hungry."

Faith

I sigh and take the tea, "You're crazy, but I love you anyways."

Alex

I chuckle, somehow managing to keep everything balanced, "Yeah, I know. I love me too. I love you almost as much though. But I'm a self-absorbed a**hole so... that's pretty good for you."

Faith

I smile and move the stuff off of him. I lean him against me and kiss his neck, burying my face in it, "I don't think that about you at all, A."

Alex

I smile and close my eyes, leaning my face against hers and bringing a hand to the opposite side, "You should... but I'm glad you don't."

Faith

I sigh, setting my one hand on his, "I don't want to. I like you just the way you are."

Alex

I smile again and sigh, "Thank you for that."
